[something a little simpler]

Allen Kierser: thirty one, calls aquavia home, suffers through a career as a lawyer, technically married. allen could be called a jerk with too much money. his ability is to manipulate all biological material inside of a person and he doesn't hesitate to do so when it suits his purposes; he's talented at healing, though he prefers to go in the opposite direction. generally, he's fine to hang with out and quite friendly but, despite appearances, he's not someone you want to have at your back (or, to think of it, fighting against you).

he's not stingy with his friendship. he has some old acquaintances with vague gang ties as well as several in the government, virtuous as can be. allen's generous with those he likes and he'll easily sponsor one less fortunate than him - with the assumption they'll come to benefit him in the future. it would be fun for him to have some friends with similar powers, just so he can have a chance to openly reveal his own. i really want him to run into someone who has powers like his own, so they can compare!

as for lovers, he has a wife, but they're both prone to wander as the distance between them grows. of course, he won't ever really be intimate, especially with people that aren't gifted. short relationships are best with him - otherwise his partner begins to realize that allen's a bit deficient in the emotion department and not as dim as he plays.

enemies are something he doesn't try to cultivate, especially as he's gotten older. still, there are a couple of his deceased sister's friends who have it out for him, hating his arrogant as all-get-out attitude (and, possibly, for screwing them over very much in the past). i'd love to play out him making an enemy of someone that he was once friends with or vice-versa!
