Upon finding this stone and placing it within your hands.. you feel a deep and rumbling voice stir within you.
I am Kirwyn, God of rebirth. I am born of the setting sun - the star of stars. Within this stone harbors one of the last of my children I once created to run free in this land, fly within the vast skies, and dig low into the dirt for pure joy. They were of great innocence and strength, but the seasons and fate brought upon them and I an age that sought us naught within its future.. and thus we moved on, not all surviving from the famine that struck. This stone, an egg so ancient and so dear, will be born with loyalty and gentleness only to one's spirit that it feels called to. Keep this child safe, nurse it and raise it well... and the day will come when it no longer needs your protective hand and stands by your side honorably with the strength you have given it.

Brenna was surprised when she had heard the voice and the stone melted away into the dragon egg. Her hand gently ran over it. She had found it while wondering the lands seeking a little piece of mind. The land was coming back to life finally and the winter seemed to finally be ending. She slowly took her glove off letting her warm hand touch the egg. Suddenly it started to shake and then hatch. She hadn't expected it to hatch so quickly. She sat back on her heels watching as it's head popped out of the egg and make a soft noise. Bren smiled the first one she had in a long time. The little dragon fell out onto the floor in front of her. He made a soft noise. "Hey little guy."
His body was just long enough for her forearm. She slowly reached her hand out to make sure he trusted her. His head slowly rubbed against her hand and she smiled softly to herself. He was a beautiful color of red and black. His orange eyes looked up at her and she smiled more. He was beautiful and she actually felt calm with him for some reason. She hadn't expected any of this. She gently picked the little guy up. "Let's get you something to eat." She walked toward her little kitchen and went to get him some food. She sliced some meat and other things trying to figure out what he liked to eat. She set him on the table and placed the food on the table with him. "Now you need a name." Bren sat and watched him. He was eating a little curled on the table. She smiled to herself. She had to think about this. She had never expected to see a fire lizard before.
"Kindle...yeah I like that one." She gently ran her fingers over his head letting him eat. She could tell he would be very good for her. He didn't seem to flinch away from her warm hand and she knew she needed someone that wouldn't get hurt.
