I will hunt you down... The sound of ripping, and tearing would echo into the atmosphere as a large man without a shirt stood in the middle of thickened roots that had erupted from the Earth around him. Ivan's golden eyes glared intensely at the practice logs he had set up, his breathing was heavy, his body was worn, and battered he was at his limit but he was pushing beyond it; because when he stared at the logs he stared at the one thing he had to destroy. A vicious battle cry would escape him as the man was consumed by an overwhelming flood of emotions that both confused, and angered him; he swung his arms pushing them forward causing the roots to shoot out from all around him towards the three individual logs he had set up the roots would entangle the logs constricting them with a vice like grip. Ivan would begin to close his hands his eyes focused on each individual log, what he saw were not logs but the woman with the silver hair, the Silver Fox is what he saw, and it was her whose life he was crushing three times over. The roots would eventually break the logs splitting, and tearing them apart the pieces would fall to the ground, stumbling back he was breathing heavily, and he was only getting worse as time went on. The roots would fall to the ground lifeless once he was done manipulating them. Turning to the distance he spotted a lone bush of wild roses, then he remembered when she assaulted him with her quick slashes he had been unable to fully block every strike, he needed to train his reflexes reaching down to the ground he reached for his cleaver bringing the sword up to hold at the ready, his free hand reached out for the bush. Ivan would begin to manipulate it, the thorns thickened, and the bush seemed to come to life as it grew larger, he would inhale deeply...then when he exhaled he would pull his hand back towards him instantly the bush fired off multiple thorns at him.
Ivan braced himself the thorns were coming, "Ha!" he slashed down knocking two out of the air, "Ha! Ha!" he slashed again knocking two more, but then he was hit the thorn buried its sharp tip into his arm knocking him back, "Gah...! Fuck!" he called out as another pierced him, reacting quickly he slashed twice hitting three more. But the final one got to him, Ivan dropped his cleaver his body giving out on him as he fell back hitting the ground hard with a solid thud, "Gah!" was all he could say as he felt an overwhelming pain run throughout him, his worn body already at its limit not wanting to move. Rolling over the large man would rest his forearms on the ground holding his body up best he could, his forehead pressed against the ground.
"Why?..." he asked himself shutting his eyes tight, and grinding his teeth against one another, his mind flashing with memories of the silver haired woman, "Why do I..." one of his hands reached out grabbing a handful of dirt in his grip wishing he could crush these feelings that were in constant conflict his new resolve. "....why do I care so much?" he asked himself burying his face into one of his arms, wishing he could extinguish these feelings that seemed to have become more intense since he had decided to wipe her out, had he not meant it before? Why was it that he was feeling these other emotions until now? Why did he miss her? Why did he hate himself for pushing himself away? They were enemies! Why did he want to run back to her, and help!?
Ivan couldn't take it anymore these confusing emotions, the training he had been putting himself through his body was finally breaking down, and so was his emotional state. The wounded cub would bring his arms around his head while his head pressed against the ground, that's when it happened tears began to flow from his closed eyes soaking the ground beneath his face. The wounded would lay there sobbing, there was no one around so who would hear him? Who would even care? He was so confused, he was so lost now...he thought he knew what he wanted, but he was hesitating he didn't want to hurt her; he had realized this he never wanted to hurt her then why did he chase her so obsessively? Ivan placed both hands on the side of his head trying to shut out the questions, the feelings but he couldn't. Despite how hard he tried all he could do was cry...
[sometime later]
The sun was setting soon the moon would rise, and a blanket of darkness would be placed over the dense forest he had come to. Ivan had traveled out of Domhan Tir to train, now he was heading back to camp. He was done crying, his body was tired, even the coat he always wore felt heavy to him with his cleaver on his back the worn out man stumbled across the forest making his way back to camp doing his best to stay conscious he was unaware though that on this night he would run into someone else, despite his wanting to be alone the Gods would not have it that way. Ivan kept making his way through the dense forest, his hands parting branches, and bush until he made it to the beaten path where he turned to walk down the path leading deeper into the wilderness.

Etro ran as fast and as far as she could, tears staining her cheeks – a mixture of sadness and anger from fighting with Story and pain from gaining a few cuts on her arms and legs. She really hadn’t thought this through but it was too late to turn back and why should she? It’s not like she had anything to turn back to go to – her sister was so caught up in not being her sister that Etro felt it almost true. Maybe all along Etro never had a sister… Her tinny legs kept spurring her on, the howls in the background of the night pushing her forward until she tripped on an exposed root. Letting out a loud cry she pushed her body off the ground bringing her knees up to her chest and then just letting the tears flow. What was she to do now, she had nowhere to go and when she lifted her head to turn back, her eyes couldn’t make out a path. She was lost with no way home and when she heard another howl she shivered, curling into a ball “Why Story…Why don’t you ever notice me? Will you notice that I’m even gone?” Looking up to the stars Etro made a wish, she wished that someone would come long and be her hero. Someone would promise to be there for her and promise to not leave her alone. Then she cuddled herself listening to the sounds of the forest. She could smell her own blood and feel the sting on her knee – when she looked down she sore that she grazed it. As she stared at the graze her eyes began to become unfocused. She was sent back through her own memories to a time when she was 9 and a younger Story was scolding her gently as she cleaned a wound on her knee. “Big Sis it really hurts!” She whined as Story washed the graze with some alcohol. “I know honey but it needs to be done, next time don’t go running into the woods on your own.” Etro whined some more as Story put a bandage on her knee “You had everyone worried about you.” Etro’s big blue eyes looked up at her sister, they were teary and sad but the look she gave Story must have melted her heart because she hugged her. “I’m sorry….but it was a pretty butterfly.” Story gave her a look then smiled at her. “Next time, take me with you.” She said as she tapped the young girls nose. “Okay!” Etro started to feel better and she beamed up at Story. She opened her eyes again and Etro was back in the forest, no Story, no big sister to cradle her and tell her it was ok. A fresh wave of tears fell from her cheeks and she curled into a ball. It seemed that she wasn’t the only one that could smell blood in the air – the howl this time closer than before and this made Etro sit bolt upright. She looked around to see where it came from but it was so dark she couldn’t make out too far in front of her. She started to shiver as fear set in and took told of her. She let out a yelp as she heard a twig snap somewhere to her right then another to her left. She scream and then covered her mouth as a howl, a rather close howl returned her plea. tags: Ivan Sahalewords count: 583 out of character: The feels MADE BY LILO OF GS |

I will hunt you down... He continued to walk along his large frame moving with the steady motion of his legs as he continued to move down the path that was supposed to be safe for travelers, but being an experienced hunter he knew that sticking to this path would leave him open to attacks from bandits. So he would step into the dark embrace of the wilderness the shadows would blanket around him obscuring his body from view, he would make his way through the forest as he walked though he would suddenly stop at the sudden scream that broke through the atmosphere. Ivan would stop moving his eyes narrowed as his ears were filled with the sound of the unfamiliar scream he would stand there for a moment trying to pin point the general location of the scream. When he did figure that out he would make his way towards the source of the scream, Ivan would push through the dense forest stepping quietly, and being cautious his senses on full alert as he paid attention to his surroundings. When he did come to find the source of the scream he would however also see something else, something that raised red flags. Two wolves he could see them, grey furs savage animals that preyed on the weak, and at this point in time their target was the innocent girl leaning against the tree.
Ivan would bend his knees, and lower his eyes a pair of sharp golden spheres focused on the two wolves, like a wild animal he would burst from the wilderness his large frame ripping through the branches, and bushes sending twigs as well as leafs flying in all directions. He would charge at the wolves startling the beasts who reacted to his presence by charging at him the man reached up grabbing hold of the hilt of his sword drawing it from the scabbard he would swing the sword down slamming the first wolf. He brought the beast down into the ground smashing its head into the floor with its sword, the sharpened blade splitting its skull one final yelp escaping the beast as its life was snuffed away. Releasing his sword Ivan would watch as the other wolf lunged at him moving to the side he clamped down on its head with both hands using his immense strength he held the wolf in place, its legs flailed but he was quick to grab hold of either jaw with a hand each then pull in one mighty motion. The sound of flesh ripping, and bone cracking echoed into existence, dropping the mutt on the floor he would raise one of his legs then bring it down for a quick stomp smashing the creatures skull.
Ivan would exhale sharply feeling the wolf twitch a few times before its body stopped moving entirely, with that done he stood a few feet away from the pink haired girl which sat against the tree. She was covering her eyes, seemingly hiding herself behind her hands Ivan knew he had the choice to simply walk away; but at the same time he could not bring himself to do such a thing. It was in times like these that the lessons bestowed upon him by his father would always sneak their way into his mind, and adjust his morale compass when he felt it slipping. All hunters and members of the Zuni tribe were taught one thing, and this very lesson would repeat itself in Ivans mind as if it had happened yesterday the memory played out...
Tribal markings adorned his bare upper body, nowhere near as muscular as he was now a younger Ivan stood holding a stick with a sharpened stone head in his right hand he would stand there looking over at a man who looked just like him. Except that this man had a great flow of white hair cascading from his head, a thick goatee decorated his worn features, and a pair of sharp blue eyes stared dow at his son. "Ivan, what good is strength?" he asked with his booming voice, his eyes locked with his sons golden spheres that were a spitting image of his mothers own eyes. Ivan smirked raising a closed fist to flex his bicep which paled in comparison to the massive tree trunks his father had, "Strength is the key to power! What makes a warrior great, and capable to overcome any obstacle. With strength I will one day lead the Zuni!" he would say to his father with a confidence that beamed in every word which he spoke. His father chuckled lightly as one of his massive hands came up to pet his sons head ruffling his head, and pushing the boy down a bit "Is that how you believe I came to become tribe leader? By bullying my way to the top?" he asked taking his hand from his sons head, kneeling down the massive man would still dwarf his son in size but he would bring that very same hand up to hold it in front of Ivans face.
"Strength is not about destroying obstacles Ivan. A true leader, a true Zuni knows that we must always lend our strength to those who lack the strength for themselves. The notion that the strongest survive is a fools way of thinking. Throughout history it has been seen that the minority, the common masses always dictate the fate of the governing powers. This is why your strength must always find its loyalty to the common man, to strengthen those who need it most...never turn your back on those in need" the large man would stand upright towering over his son more, the two would lock eyes....
As soon as it had come the memory began to fade, the sun light that once kissed his youthful skin was gone, and his father of course was gone. Ivan would return to the forest his eyes focused on the girl with the pink hair that found herself seconds away from being wolf dinner just moments ago, as his father would have before him he stepped towards the girl approaching her until he was close enough to kneel down in front of her after placing his cleaver in the scabbard on his back. Ivan would reach into one of the deep pockets of his long coat pulling a hand out he would reach his hand out towards her, "Dry your tears, and settle down. You are safe now..." he would pause holding the handkerchief for her to take if she wanted it. Once she had taken it he would extend his legs allowing himself to stand fully upright his body towering over the girl, Ivan would hold a hand out for her to take to help her stand up.
"Stay in the forest any longer, and you risk being found by more grey furs...let's make our way to my camp. You can spend the night, make your way when the sun rises..." his hand shook a bit as he felt his body become a bit numb. But he managed to catch himself, with a deep breath he would manage to control himself the vision that was blurring returning to focus but he knew he needed to rest soon. He had strained his body far too much today, and on top of that he played hero just moments ago. Once the girl had taken his hand he would pull her up, allowing for her to stand upright he beckoned for her to follow, "If you want a warm meal, and a safe place to sleep follow me" he said to her turning to walk off to his campsite making his way through the forest, a few minutes later they would arrive welcomed by the barely living flame of his fire he would begin to work the flame with dry grass, and twigs to allow it to feed on fuel to roar to life. When the flames once again burned brightly he would toss bigger, and bigger handfuls of twigs to feed the flames allowing them to burn brighter.
If the girl had accompanied him all the way here Ivan would gesture for her to sit when she did he would reach into a satchel he left at camp pulling out a few pieces of dried jerky meat he handed a long piece to the girl. "Eat some, its a bit rough but it will fill your belly" he explained to her holding the piece of jerky out for her. "My name is Ivan by the way, mind explaining what such a fragile thing like you is doing in the forest at this hour?".

Etro was frozen in fear, her back against a tree and two wolves coming closer to her, stalking her. She let out another scream as she covered her ears and closed her eyes tightly shut because she didn’t want to hear or seen what was about to happen to her. But instead of feeling her flesh been torn and chewed she didn’t feel anything. She heard a loud thundering through the forest, twigs snapping and a loud boom boom of treading feet. What she didn’t expect to her was the yelping of wolves and what she tried to block out even more was the sounds of snapping an breaking of bones. She squeezed her hands tighter over her ears and scrunched up her nose as she tighten her eyes shut. She didn’t want to see what was happening, she didn’t want that memory I her mind.
Etro hadn’t realised she was trembling, it wasn’t until she felt something close to her that she noticed she was shaking. She didn’t know what it was and she didn’t want to see in case it was something far worse than a wolf. But instead of something eating her yet again her ears were greeted with the sound of a male voice. Opening her eyes slowing and lowering her shaking hands she looking at the man with her big blue eyes that by now were wet with tears. She blinked a few times when he offered her a handkerchief but then with a shaky hand she reached for it. Bring it to her eyes she dried them then looked up at him again as he stood. He was so tall was all she could think in that moment until she remembered her manners. “Thank you…um?” she wanted to ask his name but as she took his hand and he pretty much lifted her to her feet like she was a feather she got distracted and forgot to ask. Feeling his hand tremble, or was it her own? No it was his and she only knew it because he almost stumbled taking her with him. “Are-“ He cut her off or rather she was so quietly spoken that he didn’t hear her. So she nodded and followed him, walking after him she realised that her knee still hurt so her walk turned a bit into a limp but she did manage to keep up. She actually worked out the reason she could, he was injured and straight away she felt terrible. It was her fault that he was injured, if she hadn’t run away then she would never have gotten caught by wolves and he wouldn’t be injured. Of course she didn’t know about his prior training. Leading her to the camp she began to see light, a fire was still lingering and he made is way over to it, topping it up the fire roared back into life. He directed her to sit and she did, there was a log not too far from the fire so she sat there silently and shivering as her dress had become torn at the edges and it was getting to be cold – something she only just noticed as the adrenaline left her tiny body. He offered her food and she took it with a nod and a thank you, nibbling at it and finding it surprisingly tasty. “Ivan…” Like always, she let the name play off her tongue, remembering its tone and sound. Then without warning she bowed to him and thanked him “Thank you Mister Ivan for saving my life. I know I shouldn’t have run away but” tears began to form in her eyes again as she explained “I had a fight with my sis-“ She chocked on her words then continued “With someone close I know and I was really hurt and sad I just…I just ran. I’m really sorry you got hurt.” She bowed again “It’s all my fault and now I’m lost.” In her rendition of what happened she forgot to tell him her name but by now she was crying and bowing thanking him all at the same time that she completely forgot herself. tags: Ivan Sahalewords count: 692 out of character: I got rid of the second flower! I will hunt you down... As the girl began to talk Ivan only listened the giant of a man sat on the floor his powerful jaw gripping down on the chunk of dry meat pulling, and tearing at it letting the saliva in his mouth moisten the tough fibers of the food as he began to crush it with his teeth. His ears were all open to the words that escaped the girls mouth, when she began to cry he stopped eating, and when she said what she said he could not help but feel a chord had been struck inside of him. The girls soft voice would be hollowed out as a single phrase repeated itself in Ivans head, ' I had a fight with my sis-....With someone close I know and I was really hurt and sad I just…I just ran' these words hit Ivan like a freight train, the golden spheres that contained his sharp pupils would shake, and he felt his throat choke up with a terrible knot. Silver Fox was no sister to him, but she was someone close if anything she was the only person that he considered a...well he wasn't sure what he considered her, all he knew was that he did not want to hurt her he in fact never wanted to hurt her. A deep sigh would escape from the mans parting lips, he had even lost his appetite despite his overworked body needing the fuel, Ivan carelessly tossed the dried meat to the side not caring if it hit the filthy forest floor. His once sharp eyes that glared at the wolves he had torn to bits now softened as they stared at the dancing flame that had grown between them, all the while his mind bombarding him with thoughts of the Silver Fox. Why was he wondering how she was doing? Why did he care?
It was not until the distant howl of a wolf that pierced into the settling darkness that he was able to break himself away from the trance of his thoughts, and the image of the silver haired woman would fade from view. Turning to the distance Ivan stared off the howling intensified as many other wolves joined in, their conjoined howls gathering, Ivan however showed no fear "Like us...they mourn someone they lost" he said to the girl that sat near him. "Be it man or beast, a bond that is formed between two living things can never change. Some of us are just too stupid to realize how important those bonds are..." he said the last bit referring to himself, the mans brows frowned as his face expressed a saddened expression. Lucky for him that he was turned away from the girl, and all she could hear was his words not see the face that accompanied them.
By the time he turned towards the petite individual his expression had changed back to normal, but his eyes betrayed him the sadness in them was unmistakeable, and it was as clear as day for anyone who would see them. "...the pain you feel" he said as he stood from the floor grabbing the split of his coat, "It fills you with an unexplainable sadness that weighs you down, it makes you doubt what you have been doing so far...and it makes you wish you had the answer that would make everything better..." pulling at his duster Ivan would pull it off his figure revealing a set of broad shoulders, bulk, and definition throughout his dark skin toned body. The many scars that also decorated the mans figure came to light, more notably the one across his torso that he had received just days ago. Ivan walked towards the nameless girl, he would kneel down close to her his arms coming to her shivering figure he placed his coat around her, the warmth from his body that had been trapped by the coat would surely embrace the girl almost instantly.
Ivans hands lingered on her thin arms, he gripped them not to harm but to reassure her. "You are not alone tonight. I share your pain, I to have made a mistake, and am left without the company of someone I cherish...heh...someone I unfortunately was too late to realize just how important she had become..." the giant of a man would stare at the girl quietly. He would reach up with one hand using a gentle stroke of his thumb to wipe away rogue tears that persisted in staining her delicate features. At the same time Ivan could not hold back the few stubborn tears that despite his best efforts managed to escape him, "It is a painful endeavor, but though tonight we will weep together. Tomorrow we will return to them, and try to correct the wrongs we made..." he would say to the girl. He was more trying, and hoping he would inspire her to go back to her sister; the bond of family must never be broken, as a Zuni he could not allow such a sacred bond to be stained with the negativity of an argument. Whatever it was happened between this girl, and her sibling it could be corrected, just how he could correct what happened between him and Zero...
It would seem his resolve was changing again, releasing her from his grip he would allow himself to sit this time staying next to the pink topped female; with the flames glow reflecting from his bare body, and embracing his skin with the warmth it radiated he would think back to something. Something which he would share, "The Zuni, my tribe we believed strongly in destiny. Every person you come across, every face you meet whether they smile at you or scowl. We are all connected in an endless web of life, destiny has made it so we meet on this night. Two ailing spirits wandering the forest, to find comfort in each others company...it sounds like some story my father would have told me one day" he said looking up at the sky his mind still thinking of the Silver Fox.
Lowering his gaze from the skies he would look over at the girl, "Be brave, and be strong...you may be tiny, but a warriors spirit can burn inside any vessel..." chuckling as he reached over giving her his hand for a handshake. "Like a tiny warrior, you will charge into battle tomorrow, and win back your sister. This much I am confident in" he knew he had just given her a nickname, but then again he didn't have her name to begin with. Either way, Ivan aimed only to comfort this poor girl sharing his pain with her the two stood on common ground regardless of their past, present, and what they would do in the future.

Etro titled her head to the direction of the howl, it sounded wounded just like how she felt. Soon another echoed back and she found herself wrapping her arms around her waist – this world was cruel. His words stirred her and she looked over to him as he explained the essence of life and it brought fresh tears to her eyes as she thought of Story. Her sister was just that, too stupid to see how much she cared, that she didn’t care if she was adopted! All those years counted more and meant more and couldn’t just be forgotten. As Etro began to realise that all along she had already decided her resolve – she would fight for her sister, she would make her see that it didn’t matter, blood meant nothing to her and she would fight. Even if she knocked her down Etro would get back up, bruised maybe, but she would stand.
By now tears stained her cheeks and when she looked over to Ivan as he spoke of pain her blue eyes saw the sorrow in his too. She could see that he wasn’t really talking about her pain but his own – he loved someone deeply and cared for them maybe just as much as she did for Story. She watched him take off his coat, his body was littered with scars – each of them seemed like a visual representation of the scars she felt on her own heart. She hide them where he wore them for all to see. When he knelt before her, his hands lifted the jacket around her shoulders, his hands resting at her shoulder. The jacket alone was enough to warm her but his hands on her shoulder was reassuring that she wasn’t alone.
He let her go, coming to sit next to her. Ivan’s words struck a cord and she nodded thinking that she would go home tomorrow and she would sort it out even if she had to wait till Story worked it out herself too. Etro then did something daring, she was so tired and exhausted from crying that she actually rested her head against his arm as he began to speak of his tribe. She listened to every word and it made her smile – for the first time she didn’t feel so alone in this world.
She took his hand with a smile and shook it nodding her head but then she did something he probably wouldn’t expect – she hugged him.

I will hunt you down... No words were spoken, but the girl listened he knew this much because she was reacting to him when she took his hand he would gladly shake it in return; his large hand grasping her smaller hand gently Ivan would soon release her hand. He would expect this to be the end of it, but then out of nowhere the small girl would press in close to him, her thin arms reached up to embrace his body. The white haired man would blink a few times in surprise as he looked down at the girl, the way she embraced him; how she held him in place with her arms as strong of a warrior as he was even he could not help but feel his heart sink a bit. So many memories invaded his mind, one in particular was a memory of his father always a strong man, but at the same time always willing to give a hug to those in need. Ivan had been doing that a lot lately, remembering his father it was funny to him, so funny that instead of thinking of his feelings this time he would express them through words. But first the giant of a man would reach down with his right arm wrapping it around the tiny warrior her petite frame was surely engulfed by his large arm as he pulled her in to keep her close, and to keep her hidden from the elements.
"....my father was stronger than I was, bigger, wiser..." he paused his golden eyes focused on the dancing flames of the fire that swayed with life in front of them. "....but as ruthless as he was when he hunted, or when we fought enemy tribes. My father was a man who was never afraid to show compassion. Whether it be wise words, or simply giving you a shoulder to cry on; he was always there for anyone. To him not only was the Zuni his family, but even a nameless traveler would receive my fathers compassionate hand if they needed it..." Ivans eyes would swell for a moment as tears gathered under his eyelids. He missed his father yes, but a gruesome truth also haunted him one that gave him all the reason in the world to blame himself for not having his father around anymore, unfortunately this was a secret he could not share...
So instead the young hunter went on to say, "...and now in my time when I am most confused, I wish he was still here. I wish I could run to his side, and ask him for help for some guidance" a heavy sigh would escape the mans parted lips as he sat there still holding the girl in his one arm. Realizing he had dumped his issues on the girl he would sniffle, a free hand coming up to wipe away the rogue tears that were too stubborn for him to blink away. "Forgive me, I find myself blabbering about the past....when I should emulate to be more like him. I should instead be your pillar...heh I am pretty big so it fits no? Me being your pillar of support" he said to the girl trying to lighten the mood with his jab at his own size.
It was then that Ivan would nod in silence, as if he was agreeing with some internal conversation he had been having this entire time. "You became a pillar for me today, in my attempt to escape my problems I secluded myself in this forest far from my homeland. Yet, as destiny would have it I ran into you...there was a reason behind this. We were meant to be each others pillar for tonight. I am truly grateful I met you tonight, but tell me one thing tiny warrior...." he paused as he took his eyes from the flames to look down at the much smaller girl who was next to him. "....I never learned your name" he said to her blinking a few times wondering what she would say.

She listened again to his words, something inside her told her that he missed his father dearly but that something was a little troubling in that thought. She didn’t say anything though for she felt something wet fall on her cheek. Moving under the weight of his arm she tilted her head to look up at him. He was crying, she was surprised really because she never had seen a man cry before and also he looked so tough that she just assumed he wouldn’t. It was nice though, to see that he was human just like her and that things in life upset him too. Etro actually felt like she could really trust this man, but even more than that she felt like he understood how she felt – she had never had anyone understand that before.
They sat like that in silence for a time before he nodded as if agreeing to something he said only no words were spoken. When he did speak though he spoke about their encounter and how he felt that it was meant to happen – that they were to be each other’s pillar. Again though she picked up on the hidden sorrow in his eyes and soon she found fingertips resting on his cheek as she brushed away his tears. “I guess we are being there for each other tonight. Though I don’t understand how I have done anything.” She looked away and at the fire, the flames dancing and flicking about as the burned through the wood beneath. “My name is Etro, Etro Luminus.” She let the silence linger for a moment between them, considering his words again about being his pillar.“Ivan….Why did you come here? You said that you were escaping something too. Just like me.” She didn’t look up at him, keeping her eyes fixed on the flames. “I have decided that I will go back and try, I’ll talk to her again and try to get through…I know it will be really tough but I love her so much and it hurts too much to shut her out. It also feels wrong. I guess, sometimes we have to show people that we will fight for them too.” At this she did look up at Ivan, her blue eyes staring into his and searching for some validation of her words though she knew she didn’t need it. “She is just stubborn but I’ll get through – I have too.” She smiled this time, happy that she had decided her resolve again. It wouldn’t be like last time, she wouldn’t let it get to that point, and this time she would stand her ground too. Not out of pain and anger but just love for her sister. “So what about you Ivan? What have you decided?” tags: Ivan Sahalewords count: 511 out of character:And the decision time MADE BY LILO OF GS |

I will hunt you down... He felt the girls soft fingers graze the moisture from his cheek, looking over at her he would look at the girl her every word escaping into the atmosphere to slip into his ears. The way she spoke he would only smile at the sound of her words, "You have given me a sympathetic ear, and a shoulder to lean on. You have given something so simple but something I am desperately in need of. I am alone in this world, my tribe I forsake them years ago, and the only constant in my life was her....but aside from that, well I never had anyone who would listen to me" he would pause as he had explained what he felt would clear up what Etro had done here for him today. Then again when he thought about it, Zero was not someone he could open up to; she was for the longest time an enemy someone that he only sought to destroy, and he was only seeking to harm her for the sake of making some money. The obsessive way in which he chased her though was what cast a shadow over the feelings that had grown to full bloom inside of Ivan, just the thought alone would make the man smile it was a soft smile but it was there. Why? Because what he felt was confusing, it was scary, but when he was at peace in a calm atmosphere he could see how wonderfully warm said feelings made him feel.
When she introduced herself he took a mental note of her name, moving on from there he would address her following question "Because I made a mistake in my homeland, I hurt someone I did not know I cared for...I came to a realization that I, well that I felt something more for her. I feared these feelings, I became confused with a mixture of emotions that were both negative, ad positives...so I fled to clear my head here. In the madness of my thoughts I lost myself..." he paused leaving it at that choosing to say no more. Sitting next to the girl his eyes would look up at the dark skies, a nod would come from the man as he heard her speak of her new reform the way she was, the determination in her tone as she spoke of getting her sister back he had to admit he liked that. It was nice to see the fire burn so passionately within her, he wished her the best of luck, and was about to say so until she asked him what he planned to do.
To that question the large towering man said only one thing, a very simplistic answer that showed how lost he still was. "I don't know" his tone was filled with some regret, but at the same time a hint of hope something that he had lost not too long ago, and had just regained.

She watched as his body seem to become heavy though in his voice he still had hope. Etro stayed quiet as she thought about it, everything he told her about himself, his tribe and this person. “Ivan…” She finally said “It doesn’t matter if you have negative or positive feelings about someone – that’s normal I think.” She looked up to the tree tops “I think it’s normal because when you love someone, sometimes it hurts too it hurts because you love.” She chuckled and looked back at him with a smile. “I don’t think I am making sense but I will try ok?” Taking a deep breath she begun to try and tell him what it was she meant. “When my sister said the things she did to me and that made me angry and upset and as you can see got me ended up here. Yes I was angry with her and I didn’t think I would go back – I didn’t see the point because she doesn’t care, how could she? But I met you here Ivan, and from listening to you I realised something. Yes she got angry with me but she is my sister and I love her so much – there is probably something that she isn’t telling me that really has her troubled and thinking that it’s best to push me away because she is trying to protect me or doesn’t think I am strong enough to handle her pain too. Well I just have to show her that I can and as for you. We all make mistakes but the biggest mistake we can ever make is leaving it uncorrected. I think if you went back and explained, even if she tried to push you away you just keep telling her what you felt and that you can handle it then she will understand. At least that is what I plan to do.” She looked over to him and smiled before yawning and stretching her arms up then falling to the forest floor and staring at the tree tops. “It does feel better after talking to you Ivan. You say that I have given you someone to listen to – well you have given me the courage to really face this and do my best to get my sister back. I will get her back.” She said the last of the words as she rolled over closer to Ivan, her tiny body coming to rest facing him. If he were to lay back where he was she would scoot even closer to him seeking warmth and maybe even a hug. tags: Ivan Sahalewords count: 434 out of character: Smile for me MADE BY LILO OF GS |
