Needless to say, Neviah was a bit surprised he could stand straight with how much he had drank. Sure Gods had higher resistance to certain aspects but even so that was surprising. Then again... This was Jag of all the Gods. When he called her a prude however, Neviah crossed her arms "I'm no prude, I just never engaged with anything of the sorts due to the lack of a proper partner" only after she had said that did she realize just precisely what she had just told him. Yeah Neviah was as inexperienced as they came
Waving a hand across her face dismissively, the girl would chuckle a bit before closing her eyes "Besides, as I said before to your brother, only the lower class mortals tried asking for such things out of me. I wasn't about to place my reputation as a speaker for a one nights stand... It would have to be really damn worth it for me to even consider it" well that was that and she would reach over, pressing up to Jag for a moment.
Now that was definitively unlike her "I'm you lap bitch now Jag... besides with Dym gone, there's nobody stopping me from teasing the living hell out of you and all mortal men that thread my path..." she'd say with a tone od seduction in her voice. And just as quickly as she had pressed up against him, did her hand reach for his forehead, starting to glow just a bit.
Neviah held her hand there for about ten seconds as she let the light of her healing abilities surge through her palm before pulling back "That should help you keep your balance while drunk. Can't have you stumbling and accidentally causing a tsunami or something after all." with that her entire form left the closeness to his before she smiled "And what did you have in mind for us to do? I'm not going to lie, being indoors for the past three days has left me wanting to maybe just swap into my mermaid for and go for a dip... or something else that involves being away from that room filled with destroyed memories right now." she'd say, standing at a rather close proximity of him but distant at the same time, crossing her arms beneath her breasts, causing them to counce a bit with the action.

Jag laughed loudly. "It's almost as if you care about me, Neviah. Enough to save me the trouble of insulting you." Confidence in his balance came back to him--or was it sobriety? Either way he no longer felt a need to lean for support. "Thanks for that. Saves me the trouble of the puke and rally." He looked down at her and winked sarcastically. He could probably take her now, he thought to himself. But that would only complicate things. It would ultimately cause her more harm than good. He knew what kind of woman Neviah was, and while Dym had done well disguising his lust Jag was nothing if not forthright about his promiscuity. And even beside that, he could not will himself to do so. Regardless of how he thought things would go between the two of them, this was Dym's speaker. Dym's woman. Besides his eyes, this was all he had left of his brother. "And I'm the proper partner? Oh honey..." He grinned before pulling away. A bruised heart now saved two broken ones later.
"How long has it been since you've seen Shinsoo from outside of the dome, Neviah? Too long, I bet..." Jag droned off as he turned toward the door. They both needed this. To remember just who they were supposed to be protecting, regardless of hardship or circumstance. He was the sole divinity in Aquavia, now, and Neviah was his speaker. "It's not good to get too distant from the people, Neviah. Even the lower class mortals that want to jump your bones." Jag looked down at his bottle of rum, now almost empty. One last swig and it was gone. He looked again at the bottle, empty. Join the club. He threw it against the wall seeing it explode like a grenade with glass fragmentation. It helped the same way its rum had helped earlier. It was small, it would be insignificant and unsubstantial, but now it seemed like all the help in the world. He rubbed the back of his head and turned around smiling at Neviah. "I guess you're not the only one who's been cooped up for too long. You can clean that up later, thanks."

Neviah gave out a laugh "You? Proper? Please... Maybe if I was desperate..." she'd say, ignoring the whole 'Honey' comment since she didn't know what to say to those words coming from Jag of all people before walking over and sighed a bit "You know, I've pondered moving somewhere else. This damn place is too big and I live alone... It bores me" she'd say before hearing his talk and sighed "The dome from the outside? Its... been some time..."
It was no lie she'd been ignoring coming close to the cities, even if her mermaid form was highly revered she hated being pestered by humans. Or the goddamn jackasses that had tried to catch her once. Oh boy that had been fun. With that she'd watch the bottle shatter "Sheesh Jag... You sound frustrated... or dare I say... Pent up?" she'd smirk before starting to head to the main hall and then to the outside, looking out at the ocean.
Neviah waited before looking over "Guessing you're going to assume your regular turtle form, uh?" she'd ask, starting to walk to the shore. She was barefoot, which was nothing out of the ordinary, letting the small waves start to soak her feet as she sighed "Whenever you're ready...." she'd say, unsure still of what he had in mind

“Choose somewhere else to live then! You’re just a step below a god, Neviah, you should enjoy some of the privileges that grants you for once,” Jag said as he began collecting himself properly now. His hand left the backside of his head and fell down, hiding itself in his pocket. He looked back at her, more seriously now. “Hah!” he barked back sarcastically, “Ha. Ha. Just adjusting, not frustrated. I’ve got a lot more on my plate now, Neviah. I know how to get high, it’s the other stuff that I have to get familiar with.” He followed her outside and stared out at the sea. Their realm was plagued with a tropical beauty that was apathetic to the circumstances of their country. It was one of the reasons Jag liked being around his followers. There was an unhealthy disconnect that occurred when they stayed too long here.
Jag began walking out in the water. His bare feet began kissing the waves as they gently rolled onto the shore. “No, I think it’s time I changed.” He slowly waded into the water, his body slowly changing. His tanned skin and clothes began mutating into his skin. His back was grey and his front became white, with a small gradient where they met on his side and a universal sheen covered each shade of gray. His face became a long snout and began projecting up instead of out. Jag jumped into a crashing wave with his arms at his sides and headfirst until he disappeared in a smokescreen of crystal blue water and foam. He breached the water: he was a small mammalian effigy to his whale of a brother. Ironically a more modest form, Jag had now become a large dolphin. His eyes had a radiating quality about them—what should have been small black marbles adopted the red and yellow hues of his brother, and their intensity seemed to hold true regardless of the distance between the observer and himself.
“Well, what are we waiting for?” he said, his voice echoing in the spaces of his and Neviah’s mind as he began swimming in circles under the water. He breached playfully, performing half of a front flip and keeping his body contorted into a semi-circle before crashing down amongst his wild waves yet again. Yes, this fit him a little better now that Dym was gone.

Oh for the love of.... Why had he gone and picked such a form of all things. He had to go and just pick her favorite sea creature, nearly felt like he was trying to impress her. Weather it was what he was up to or no, she didn't seem to care. With that Neviah would sigh and slowly started to step into the water one foot at the time. First the water only reached for her ankles, then up her knees and then her waist. At that moment the female stopped and dove head into the water.
Immediately her form became covered in light as her clothes nearly fully disappeared and her form shifted. Within seconds her legs turned into the bottom part of a fish like form with the fins at the bottom and her hair was let loose. Around her torso only thing there was the ever present set of seashell like bikini top she wore in these occasions when she assumed this form. Quickly and almost naturally the girl swam to his direction and up, emerging from the water and jumping over him and performing a back flip, giggling a bit before her form hit the water. These... These were the rare times people saw Neviah as her true bubbly self.
The girl finally came to a stop beneath the water and leaned back, as if laying in an non existent recliner and looked at him "You just had to go and pick that form of all things? It almost looks like you're trying to impress me, Jag~" she'd say before looking back at the island. The girl sighed a bit before looking at him "...As for what you said... I'm not sure where i'd go to... I might be nearly a god but Dym worked hard to make me this place... and now I can't even look at it at times..." she'd then rolled on her belly and puffed her cheeks "....You think... I can stay at your place for a while? I know this is rather out there but maybe us being around each other might just help us both not go off the deep end, after all..."

“Well believe me when I say I impress most people without trying,” Jag responded. His head breached the water leaving his body beneath the waves as he looked at Neviah. “And you can, on a couple of conditions. First, you’re going to have to clean it up. Second, you’re going to have to be ok with some…loud noises coming from my room periodically. Sex moans, mostly. You’re a big girl though, I figure you can deal with it even if you are inexperienced.” He circled her once. “But I don’t want you staying there forever—let’s get that straight right now. I enjoy a certain amount of independence. But enough dawdling—we’ve got a country to check up on now don’t we, hon?” He goaded her on slowly as a wave began growing behind them before it reached an apex behind them and crashed. Pain and pressure were absent. A smokescreen of foam plucked them from this realm and brought them deep underwater around Shinsoo. The change in pressure was irrelevant to Jag, and he had extended that protection to his new Speaker.
The dome looked light a bubble whose volume comprised of steel, a single-minded drive forward and a vacuous depression that held it back. The normal hustle that Jag had come to associate with Shinsoo had been stunted by his brother’s death. The normally ever running water taxis sat in their underwater docks like rotting corpses in makeshift tombs. Everyone needed time to heal, he supposed, but the uncharacteristic stagnation that gripped the city was unsettling. Jag flicked his tail in circles as he stared speechlessly for what seemed like an empty eternity into those dimmed streetlamps, those steel supports for an underground mausoleum, those deserted arteries who transmitted dust precursor. Even the fish sentries that normally stood guard around the shell eschewed their posts in a fearful reverence of Aquavia’s grief. “Are these mortals really this useless without us?” he said mockingly, disrupting his own uneasiness. “Where are the club spotlights? The demonstrations? Damn, can these people not even mourn correctly without me here?”
He turned back and down to his speaker--Jag enjoyed keeping a visible different in elevation between the two of them--"What do you suppose we ought to do, then?" He understood that the people might not have wanted a hedonistic revelry so close to a god's beheading. Some would consider it tasteless. Still, something had to be done. Jag probably did not want to hear what Neviah was going to suggest, but he supposed it was a medicine worth taking, despite her inferiority to the wildest of waves.

The girl heard his comments about the sound, biting her tongue as she nearly, nearly said something that would probably come off as a bit lewd almost. Then again... The girl decided to go at it "Psh... Inexperienced my ass..." she'd mutter and looked away for a moment with her eyes closed a bit "I know things... don't ask me how i know them because I got no clue. Both you and your brother were well aware of my memory failing me when you first found me." she'd say before swimming in circles around him for a moment "To this day I don't know how I came to be... Or who slash what created me. I just was one day, lost in the oceans." she'd say before coming to a stop and looked at the male in his dolphin form before leaning in "...I won't get in the way Jag" she'd kiss his dolphin nose for a moment as she did so, with a sassy little smile on her lips "Though... if you end up needing companionship sometime... You can always ask..." she'd say before pulling away, right about the time the wave hit them and washed them away to their destination.
With that said, soon enough they'd be outside the dome. The girl looked over the large structure and crossed her arms as Jag was looking over the motions. When she was asked what to do, the girl sighed "Council's probably waiting on you or I to show up and say something..." she'd say and started to swim over to the dome. Being the one that showed up often to the council in this form, she knew the place she could come into and speak with them at will. But she wasn't sure if he wanted to show in public like this. Even if right now this was important to stabilize the masses via the important channels.
The girl stopped and looked out, her voice echoing in the waters around him "You don't have to come if you don't want to but you've gotta learn about these things, right?" she'd ask him, her lips not moving as she did so, trying to see his reaction.

It was an awkward feeling. Jag looked at Neviah and did not see a girl, nor a speaker, really. She was his brother’s property through and through. He brought her into the fold (it was either that or exile her away from the continent, and Dym had never been one to resist a pretty face). He made her his speaker. He was the one who made her home and gave her purpose. Jag was looking over an inheritance—Dym’s unspoken will to him.
“And what are we supposed to say to them? ‘Don’t worry about it? Everything is going to be ok?’ These people just lost a god—the less handsome one, but a god nonetheless.” Jag responded. It was then that he saw a mass of people conglomerated down one of the arterial roads and shambling forward like a zombie horde. He could make out candles and he could make out signs and he could make out a feeling of sorrow that screamed to him silently—prayers from his people that only he could hear now. “What can you say to them…?” he repeated, his voice trailing away in thought as he focused on their heavy words and heavy hearts. He looked at them like children now—not club-mates, not as inferior beings, but with paternal instinct. They were like Neviah—orphans of a beheaded brother. The crowd turned down a side street. The lights followed them in the darkness, luminescent like ghastly jellyfish floating through the city in memoriam. They turned back onto another main street and they were at the central tower, standing outside of it in a circle of crying children.

Neviah stopped and looked over "Treating them as if they are babies isn't the choice here but we have to do something or else its just a major waste of time, Jag" she said before swimming back to them "Not showing up either will make them think we are unaware of their pain. We are a glimmer of hope. Now that Dym's gone." she was trying to relax and not break out in tears as she looked at the God hidden in the form of a dolphin "Besides..." she turned away to look at the lights inside the dome "Its the right thing to do..."
That said she would, instead of taking the passage way to the inside first, she would motion him to wait before the girl started to swim around the dome, leaving a light sparkly trail as she did so to catch their attention. She bid her time doing this, going around the dome at least three times to make sure the trail was visible before returning to where he was "Look..." she'd point as the crowd would start to move to the side of the dome they were by. They had been spotted.
That was to be expected after what she had just done. She'd then look at Jag "...I'm sure you wish me to talk, yes? I know that this isn't your kind of thing... But first the population... then we can see if the council wishes to speak to us" she said, starting to close her eyes for a moment "Give me the order and I will start..." she was getting ready to project her voice in the waves so it would be caught by one of the nearby sonars they had installed so that people could hear the sounds of the outside waters. Neviah had used it before just to simply greet people in the dome before.... But this required a bit more focus than just a simple hello, after all.
