1. No Godmodding. Please... please... dear LORD.. We've all been here, we've all done it. Everyone wants to be the strongest person alive, but let's all read one another's profiles of the people we're threading with and instead play our powers and abilities with strategy rather than brute force and trying to force the other person into admitting that you're better. Rp is for fun, not for proving wrong. Don't control another person's character. Take appropriate hits and play nice if you haven't plotted out a battle!
2. Play it smart when creating your powers/'gifts' and abilities. Please use cooldowns when necessary or simply plot battles out with other rp'ers for convinience of a nifty thread. Powers are ONLY GIVEN by the origin of the gods, so they must fit what country you are from! For example, Orik is not going to give someone from Domhan Tir the powers of great destruction/Lich-type and undead things.
---If you're not sure what kind of cooldown to use, think from basic to advanced. The more basic the power, the lower the cooldown. The more advanced the spell the higher the cooldown.
3. Respect the posting order. This means the order of people that have posted. One person posts, then the other. Person A, Person B, Person A, etc. If a third person joins or if you wish to join a thread, ask beforehand when it is most convenient to post and join in the order. Double-posting is not allowed and just plain silly.
4. Open threads are for anyone and everyone! Please put (Open) after your threads if you'd like to create one and then post in the directory that we have for everyone to be able to access and search through these threads with ease! Feel free to cap the amount of people that can join an open thread and also briefly describe (not required, but appreciated) the thread when posting in the directory.
5. Feel free to control NPCs that we've set up for you (obviously not the Divinities/Deities and their Speakers). We ask that you please write/post them realistically (i.e. location appropriate) and use them in whatever creative way you please!
6. Prodigies are kinda frowned upon.. Obviously if you're a bit older, you have more experience. A ten-year-old isn't going to be the strongest thing alive. That isn't saying that we discourage you from making younger characters, but please write their 'gifts'/powers realistically. Someone that young will not be on par with adults.
