I will hunt you down... Sob stories in these uncertain times where a dozen at a time, Ivan could hear many of these tails through out his travels. It had been but eight days since he had come across her again his mind was troubled with the thoughts of the silver haired woman, a jolt of anger would rush over him as his mind thought about her; the way that woman had dominated him in their fight. Well it wasn't even a fight, it pained him to accept it but he knew that all it had been was him swinging his sword around like a wild ape while she easily evaded it allowing him to injure himself, and bury himself deeper in his own pit. Until in the end, well the memory was vivid still the way the blood erupted from his wound, how his body fell to its knees before her, the man would glare at his shoulder a hand rested over it. He growled lowly as he squeezed the wound, it was at least almost fully healed now he at least didn't have to worry about the wound leaking or the stitches coming undone, the flesh had already bound itself together, and the stitches just needed to be taken out.
Ignoring those thoughts so he would focus more on the task at hand, which was tracking down this particular mark he had come across a few days ago; the name was odd the man went by the name 'Doctor Lazarus' Ivan would eye the very bare information he had on the individual. Turns out though as obscure as the paper was, that the good doctor here was not all that hidden as he thought, Ivan had come across a small village just a few miles back where he inquired about the man known as Doctor Lazarus, as it turns out the villagers described someone who matched the picture Ivan had. Seems this doctor has been busy kidnapping young girls from the village, recently two twins girls around their late teens, were taken from their home for trying to stop the doctor their father received a deep gash across his stomach. Ivan would make his way through the thick brush of the forest as he thought to the words shared to him by the recovering father, the description it was a definite match, and this doctor well he had his laboratory nearby where it was easy to spot just turns out none of the villager ever approached it.
They asked Ivan to retrieve the girls if he found them, the weeping of their relatives, and the pleas of those who knew what the bounty hunters mission was tonight; all he could tell them is that he would try, he was no hero he was a hired sword who chased down the boogeymen of this world. The ones who believed themselves above the law, the ones who believed themselves to be entitled to bring pain to others; well Ivan was their executioner. As it he had always been, when he found his marks he never took them in alive those who pay the bounties have come to know Ivan by many names one in particular is 'Bone Collector' because when Ivan turns in a body, he takes a piece of the mark with him usually a tooth. It is a weird habit he picked up, but it was homage to the rituals of his tribe when you made a kill you kept a piece of the anime you hunted to always remember the thrill. It was the same with these marks, yes they were human but at the end of the day they acted like beasts...
A large hand would reach over pushing thick branches aside as the towering man stepped from the thick bush to find himself in the open. Golden eyes scanned the area around him, searching for any signs of traps nearby trip wires or suspicious patches on the ground to signal trap holes. When he found nothing he stared at the shack, it stood alone well it barely stood at all. His eyes narrowed, and his hair stood on end as he inhaled sharply he knew what was in there, and he knew what awaited him; another battle for life, another mark that will justify their actions at the end when Ivans blade raised overhead to deliver the final blow he will hear the mans deepest confession. With a sigh the hunter took a step forward...

I'LL BURN IT ALL DOWN A loud crack echoed through the forest as the sound of timber buckling under a force resonated. Birds scurried from their perches to escape the screams and pleas that would soon follow. Again another loud crash as the timber table split with the pressure of a body slamming into it. A plea again but this time mixed in with the whimpering of female voices. Zero's eye flicked over to where the girls cowered in a corner and it seemed to bring her to her senses or at least enough to move her torture of the man outside and away from them.
With a loud crash and a shattering of glass the man was flung through the window. Glass falling about his already badly cut body. Zero was meticulous with her blade and as she calmly walked out the front door to continue her assault, her red orb showed anything but calm. There was rage hidden beneath her exterior as the memories of her own childhood played out before her with each step she took towards him. The Doctor on the other hand tried to scurry away, his hands pushing at the red earth beneath him, tainted by his own blood as he called for mercy. But no mercy would be shown and as her red orb flicked, showing the building rage she sliced at him again and again but not enough to kill only to make him bleed till he bled dry.
Her body was already covered in his blood splats as she meticulously cut his skin leaving paper like cuts over his form. Not a word was spoken from her as his blood stained her face and she stood over him, stopping for a moment. “It seems we are no longer alone.” She didn’t look up to see who it was, she didn’t need to as the Doctor had already scampered away from her in that brief moment she stopped. He now rested against the feet of Ivan and Zero’s cold and calculated look bore into Ivan. “This one yours?” Seeing him somehow made her see mercy, but only to the point that she wouldn’t kill the Doctor in the most painful of ways. She was well aware that Ivan never brought a mark in alive so in a sense she just let the doctor out of the frying pan and into the cooler. “Have fun, doctor.” she turned and walked back into the house where to the twins were. “Get out of here.” She said, almost defeated in her tone. She hated the thoughts that plagued her mind and as the two girls ran from the house Zero screamed, tossing a table that had doctor’s tools neatly placed on it.
She needed to control herself as the rage seemed to boil beneath her skin and she looked for anything she could break. Picking up a chair she threw it out another window just to ease the rage and for the most part it was working until she thought about burning the house down. This thought actually made her grin and without further hesitation she was at his whiskey stash. “Such a waste” she pouted before taking a swig then pouring the contents around the room. It wasn’t long till Zero was standing outside with a fire blazing behind her. She seemed oddly calmer now.

I will hunt you down... He was at the shack that belonged to the doctor, the man who had become a boogeyman to the towns nearby; he sighed as he began walking towards the home his intense hazel eyes focused on the distant home ready to take one whatever decided to break free from the confines of the four walls. It was then that he would be startled to a stop, when he saw a body fly through one of the windows the sound of crashing glass rang into his ears forcing the hunter to reach up for the hilt of his sword with instinct. Who was this bloody man? Was he the doctor, or was he someone who was trying to get at the doctor, another bounty hunter who had failed? If so, then how stro--- it was then that the door opened, Ivan's eyes narrowed into an intense glare, his hand squeezing the hilt of his cleaver tighter as the door opened he would soon set his eyes on the one responsible for this. But that was just it, when his eyes settled upon the one responsible he would be frozen with shock "...Silver fox..." he whispered as he watched her his mind still trying to wrap itself around what he was witnessing.
When she assaulted the man on the floor he only watched as he screamed in pain, and fear perhaps scared he was going to die with any of those swings if the woman so wished to end him. It was then that she stopped all of a sudden, Ivan would watched still staying a witness to this the entire time. She was no bounty hunter, why was she here? How had she ever heard of this? Or maybe the doctor had captured her? No...theres no way she would let herself get caught by someone like this man, the very man that was hugging his leg now whimpering in fear his eyes wide with it, he was scared of Zero. Whether it was an instinct that he developed as a hunter, or just his gut feeling Ivan could feel something was off here, this was not the usual Silver Fox he knew. When she spoke to him he only remained silent, his eyes on her as she turned to walk to the house, Ivan looked down at the man who was hugging his leg.
"Th---thank you!" he said to the towering man that glared down at him, Ivan sighed kneeling down when he did the man was expecting him to help him up. "I'm sorry, but I have to go talk to her...so I can't waist any time with you" he said to the shorter man as he grabbed tight at his throat, then standing fully upright Ivan would hold the doctor with his feet dangling over the floor swinging around wildly as Ivan choked the life out of him. The smaller man flailed as he tried to punch free but there was no chance, all he knew was that he was done for in the hands of this mysterious giant with one final flex of his arm Ivan would squeeze harder as a result the doctor's neck snapped. Releasing the limp corpse he let it fall to the ground with a lifeless thud...
Walking towards the home he would move to one side as the twin girls rushed passed him running for their home, Ivan stopped as he watched the two girls run by him the two children rushing into the forest he was thinking about following them but figured they were more familiar with this terrain than he was. It was in these short seconds that he stopped to stare at the girls, that he turned towards the house when he heard the crackling of fire, his eyes widened as he watched the blazing flames crawl over the entire home consuming it in seconds. The doctor was dead, the home was gone, and the twins were safe; all with no thanks to Ivan. It was then that he spotted her silhouette walking towards him with the flames behind her, he would keep his eyes fixed on her for a moment, he was contemplating that to do but when she walked close enough he reached up to grip her arm at the bicep. A reminiscent of their nights they would spend together, he would squeeze her bicep hard his eyes glued on her face.
There was no rage here, no overwhelming anger to consume his conscious; no this was something else there was...concern, a blanket of concern had put out the flames of rage that usually blazed inside of him, he was worried about her? The question was why, why did he care that much? The man could not wrap his mind around this at all, he was so conflicted, but in the end he spoke "Silver Fox..." his hand released her bicep, lowering down to his side he remained fixed on her blood stained face. "What the hell was all this about?"

I'LL BURN IT ALL DOWN Each step was calculated and precise, she drew in breath to steady her thoughts and she tried to control the rage that wanted to consume her. It was easier though, feeling the heat at her back was oddly soothing and in her moment of inner conflict she hadn’t noticed that Ivan was still there. Instead she walked as if he didn’t exist. It was only when she felt a touch on her bicep that was all too familiar to her that she was pulled from her trance like state. The grip tightened and she growled as her head turned to face him. A glare of warning in her eye until she spotted something she wished never to see.
The spark within her was triggered again, the rage boiled the longer he kept his eyes on her – that look he gave her was one she hated. It was almost like someone had flicked the go switch the moment she felt his grip loosen. One could say that his grip was the only thing keeping her from tearing out his throat for showing any concern in his eyes for her. Now that his hand slipped from her skin, his eyes still giving her that look she felt herself become cold. Like a gust of wind she moved with deadly accuracy, her hand had reached for his throat and she twisted her body to push his back, using her weight and the momentum of catching him of guard to push him to the ground.
The fire roared to the right of them, the orange red glow illuminating her pale skin as she pinned him to the ground. “Who are you to care? You just want my head?” She bared her teeth at him, her grip tightening over his throat. She had no intent to kill him but she had to find some way to stop the anger from taking her fully, if it did…then she might just kill him or worse, the village a little ways up. So instead, she did all something that she knew would stop her – she provoked him. Her intent was to have him fight her, tire her out or better yet knock her out. “Let’s dance Ivan.” She stepped off him and moved a few paces back. She could feel herself slipping and her eye colour grew a deep and darker shade or red – before she completely lost her mind she managed to provoke him again. She needed him to be quick. “Come on boy, what are you waiting for?” Zero wondered if he would kill her once she let him knock her out.

I will hunt you down... What he was not expecting was the way she moved to knock him over, his eyes would widen with surprise, and his body did not react on time despite his hands coming up to try to grab her incoming hand he was hit, the strike on his throat would weaken him enough to buckle his knees forcing Ivan to fall back. The large man's body weight would fall back hitting the ground hard he would flinch feeling the back of his head bounce off the ground, grunting a bit as he felt her vice like grip on his throat he would reach up with his hand grabbing hold of her wrist his own grip tightened on instinct. Despite how surprising her strength was, he was not about to let her kill him like this Ivan was already thinking of a way to get her off, his mind on full instinct mode now he was not really paying attention to whatever she was spitting out of her mouth. All he was worried about was trying to get her off him, lucky for him though the woman would release him, feeling relief on his throat when he felt her body weight off him Ivan was quick to stand up. Her words would be heard, but they did not bring about the rage that they normally would; reaching up he gripped the hilt of his cleaver drawing the damaged blade from its scabbard he held it with a firm grip his eyes that once swelled with concern should sharpen themselves into an intense glare. "Worried about you?" he asked her a smirk spreading on his masculine featured, "Hah...you're an idiot if you think I'm worried about your well being" he commented with a pause as he brought his cleaver up resting the heavy blade on his shoulder.
"...I have no concern for you, I have concern for those around here. From the animals who inhabit the wilderness to the town that rests just beyond the hill. Your eyes fill with a killer intent, you stink of blood...a disgusting monster like you. I cannot let something like you just walk away. Not only as a bounty hunter, but as a warrior of this land I will not allow you to wreck havoc on the innocent, if you want to throw some bitch fit, then raise your sword, and come at me Silver Fox...." Ivan would take a wide stance holding his sword low what was now the tip of the split blade touching the ground just slightly. "Or better yet...LET ME COME TO YOU!" he called out kicking his feet off the ground Ivan propelled his body forward in a quick dash, his right foot touched the ground first pushing him forward further as he ran across the dirt ground approaching the woman when he was within reach Ivan would stomp on the ground anchoring himself in place as he swung his sword in a quick diagonal fashion at her torso. Whether he hit, or missed he would spin with the momentum of the slash bringing around a second horizontal slash at her torso. Both attacks came one after the other aimed at the woman, moving as fast as he could to successfully chain the two attacks.

I'LL BURN IT ALL DOWN Her breathing became quick, she could feel her skin crawl – she was running out of time. Her eye was even growing darker by the minute, she hadn’t been this bad in so long, and her record to keep this side of her at bay was a year now. But this, this event, it was eating at her as flashbacks of her childhood come to mind and she screamed as Ivan spoke of concern for her but then she became deathly calm. “A monster? You don’t know the half of it.” Ivan had never known this side to her and a part of her never wanted him too. She stood still as he charged her, not caring if he killed her or so she thought. No, she was given life, she couldn’t just let it be thrown away not when she had so much to do still. So when his blade came for her skin she only moved slightly, to him it wouldn’t have looked like she hadn't moved at all but she did. His blade cut at her skin, twice like an x and she let it. The warmth of her blood trickled down her stomach, she didn’t feel the pain and this was a bad sign.
“Is that the best you can do?” She charged him this time, her form a haze for red and white. She didn’t draw her sword, no there was no need for it. She knew that her punch alone would send him flying. With her hand drawing back as she counter attacked she connected to his gut, a solid blow that would generally knock the wind out of the receiver. Then as a follow up, she connected with his jaw, or was it his arm, had he blocked? It didn’t really matter, all that mattered now was that Zero couldn’t feel a thing, her eye was the darkest shade of red almost black and she was void of any self-control.
Standing there like a tower, blood staining her white clothing and her hair dancing in the light of the fire, she looks wild and ruthless. Yes she looked like a monster, because Zero was a monster.

I will hunt you down... The first swing, and the second connected but they did not give the damage he was looking for; no these were merely flesh wounds his eyes narrowed as he eyed the woman watching the edge of his sword leave the two cuts but nothing too serious he would recover from his attack, not being so consumed with rage Ivan was in much more control now then he normally was when he fought with the Silver Fox. So this time he was able to better recover from the attack stance watching as the woman moved in close towards him her arm cocked back to hit him, he may not have been able to fully keep up with her movements but he could see enough to at least react with some form of defense. Using the hilt of his sword as a defensive tool he would bring it to his torso protecting his gut from her punch he felt the force behind the punch, causing him to root his feet into the ground as he felt his body tremble from the shock wave of the attack. He had survived the first move but the second would catch him off guard with a solid blunt force on his face the bounty hunter would feel his face turn to the side as the punch connected against his face. Ivan nearly felt his legs give out as he felt her punch connect against his face, but thankfully he was able to stumble away making distance between himself, and the woman that he was fighting.
He recalled her comment from earlier, but he didn't care like all animals who went feral she needed to be put down something that he would make sure he accomplished tonight or at least died trying. Remembering the words of his father, the sense of responsibility that he carried on his shoulders when he chose to become a bounty hunter; he would give the woman an intense glare with his sharp golden eyes, gripping his sword with one hand now he moved forward; Ivan would swing his sword down in a vertical fashion at the woman. Whether he hit or missed however he did not care, he would step into the slash turning his hips he would throw his free hand in a solid straight punch. He was aiming to smash his closed fist into the woman's face if the attack landed he would follow up with a quick upward slash taking advantage of the punch knocking her face back to land the slash across her torso.

I'LL BURN IT ALL DOWN She watched him stumble, a malicious smile forming across her lips when she realised that the punch had connected with his jaw. It excited her, the thought that she might have broken it – the killer instinct inside of her was growing ever so devilish and she could feel the strength running through her veins. It was exhilarating, how could she have forgotten this? As she allowed her gaze to fall on his, she noticed he glared at her but it was nowhere near as intense as hers had become. Just by looking at her there was no sign of the Zero he had grown accustomed too. This was a Zero fully consumed by her rage, feral, wild and untamed. It was a rage that had built since long ago and nothing, not even some jungle cub was going to put a stop to her. He could die for all she cared.
She waited for him again, egging him on just like the last time. She had no care for her body, he could attack her all he liked but in the end she will defeat him and she will kill him. Again she would only move slightly, enjoying the sensation of her own blood on her skin, something about it unlocking more strength within her. His blade hit her collar and travelled down to her hip – just a flesh wound. Next his punch connected with her jaw and she felt her body move but still no pain, even as his blade followed up again and she was slashed a fourth time. As he moved slightly away from her she giggled “Is that the best you got?” Then looking down at her torso she laughed. “Oh look, it’s a pretty star.”
Her lips curled into a deadly smile, her hand reached for her blade and drew it slowly so that it now was held just out from her body. Her blood fuelled her desire, her rage but now she wanted more, she wanted his. “My turn” With one swift movement she spun her body round, her blade cutting through the air creating a gust that would slice at Ivan if it connected. It wouldn’t cut; only serve to unsteady him, no the cuts Zero would leave for close range. She rushed him, kicking off her heel she was lightning fast, faster than she had even been with Ivan. Her eye was completely dark blood red, not white just the one solid colour. Her flower glowed and she was upon Ivan within a matter of seconds. Her blade cut his torso; she slashed at him over and over, throwing in a punch here and there for good measure. She was aiming to slice him, bleed him dry with light cuts and as his blood splattered over her form, across her face she grew stronger. Once final punch and she would sent him flying towards the fire.
Standing tall again she flicked her blade, his blood splattering on the ground like it was nothing. It was as if she was showing him how little she cared for him.

I will hunt you down... He connected with each move, but in the end the woman didn't seem to be affected at all by the slashes or the punch. Ivan would stare at her his eyes wide with surprise at the way she was acting, he had fought this woman before, and she had been arrogant yes; but she had never allowed herself to be hit by his blade when she saw an attack coming she made sure to evade it completely but this time such was not the sake. The woman was taking every hit that he was throwing at her, if that wasn't shocking enough what was shocking him even more was that the woman was actually enduring the hits, and laughing. "What...are yo--" he was about to ask but before he could even finish his sentence the woman charged him with a wild blitz of attacks her sword was upon his person before he even had time to react. Ivan would raise his cleaver up, wide side facing the incoming barrage he was doing his best to block her attacks but he wasn't able to block every slash the ones that were connecting would leave a stinging pain on his body. He would watch from behind the sword as the woman stopped her slashing then threw a solid straight punch, it was then that Ivan react stepping out of the way of her incoming punch he would land himself on the outside of her arm dodging the attack entirely.
Ivan was hurting, the cuts from her blade were stinging but he had to push through this using his free hand he would step in using his entire body weight, and the momentum of his forward movement would add to the force of his counter punch throwing this punch forward he would aim to smash the closed fist into the woman's chest. Ivan was hoping the attack would knock her back, if it did he would pull his arm back, and spin around bringing his sword to her body aiming to slash her again with a horizontal slash that was aiming to cut the side of her body due to the angle that he was standing in. Ivan was unsure if his attacks would even accomplish anything anymore, the woman was so enduring, and she was so lost...he felt almost like he was fighting a demon more than a person. Perhaps from the start, this woman; this is what she was but was just keeping it under wrap? The thoughts would cloud his mind for a moment before being brushed away he needed to focus on the battle, and try to end this now!

I'LL BURN IT ALL DOWN His words didn’t reach her now; nothing would reach her for his blood mixed with hers sent her into a rage like no other. She reacted with deadly precision as his fist aimed to connect with her chest. “I am a monster!” She teased as her own fist raised and she punched into his, their two fists forcing on the other. The energy around them was intense it almost felt like static and Zero grinned as she brought her blade so quickly to his throat, it cut his skin slightly ready to deliver the fatal blow. But as her fist pushed against his she noticed something flick in his eyes, a part of her deep down realised something and she found her body reacting to it. Instead of killing him she showed more strength.
With a loud cry she pushed back on his fist so hard that she had sent him from his feet. She watched as his body flew into a tree and stumbled forward. She frowned as the colour in her eye began to lighten ever so slightly – she was regaining herself, only a little but enough not to kill…not yet. “Stay down Ivan – If you know what’s best for you” She turned and began to walk away. The pain in her body was starting to itch at her and she rubbed her stomach here he had marked her. A funny thought, she was his mark and he had marked her. At least she was coming back….
