A new era in original, fantasy RP. Four populated nations surround the ruins at the center of the known world - each with their own, strong culture. This original tale is woven around lush forests, dangerous city slums, raging seas, and endless valleys. A writer's greatest adventure is an application away.
Be it advanced technology, a knightly order, the way of a hunter, or the strength of a gang as your shield.. the land's new-born darkness will tear away at anything in its path. Fight for the gods? Fight for you nation? Fight for yourself?
WHO WILL YOU BLAME.
That's right. Be wary. Each thread the desecrants show up in will have a maximum amount of players allowed to enter to fight it. Though they may not be defeated right away, you might make them think twice about facing mankind... and could very well find them somewhere else in the world later on trying to get better luck.
A competition has been set up to create your very own NPCs! Create up to five for around the world of From Dust and you have a chance to get them accepted into the site's beastiary! This expands on our member-created base as an original site, so have at it!

you know what else is great? me.
The talk of tech didn’t interest Miles so much. Orik had forbidden technology for a reason. It was dangerous. Especially since it attracted so much bad. If gangs controlled all of the technology, it wasn’t something he wanted to ever see. It only reinforced, in his mind, the rightness of Orik’s beliefs. Technology was fought over. It was dangerous. It had no place in the world. Well, maybe in other places of the world but none within Domhan Tir.
Miles listened to the man talk about his goddess Tamesis. She interested him because she’d only been around for a short time. For as long as he could remember, the walls had been solid around Zhadrah. The nation didn’t even have a name before she came along and took them down. Or if it did have a name, it was lost to history after Borim’s treachery. Even the story or Borim was shrouded in mystery. All Miles knew was that Borim had not been a kind god as the others and that caused the four to lock him away or kill him or whatever could happen to gods to make them disappear. Then the walls came up and it’s been that way for a hundred years.
“So, this goddess, you said she gives and takes away. Have you ever gotten something from her? What did you have to give up?”
NOTES: remember, 250 words, write it in ms word or another text processor to get an exact word count, and make sure to be correct in the facts for zhadrah and tamesis
