Alright, fun game: AU where your character is the god/goddess of your country! Post in the style of "The Divinities" information and put results here! I'll go first.
Shinonome embodies the spirit of liberty, with golden hair that flows like the northern wind and eyes as blue as the endless ocean. She's not what you'd expect of a deity and acts like any other, yet her individualism stands out within the crowds. Born many years ago, her spirit of bravery and independence resonates across the land of Hyrst. Under her government, all are fit to do as they wish, without irrational contempt or unfair judgment. She is extremely playful and holds great fun in even the most menial of tasks, and always encourages all to look towards the sun even on the darkest days.
Freedom reign! Let all men have their rights! Allow the purest existence! Those are the decrees that one keeps in mind that convey her teachings.
On the Religion:
Worship? What worship? Shinonome doesn't take kindly to people who worship her. In fact, she discourages the thought, given that it'd be such a hassle as she's decided to live amongst them instead of with the other gods. All she really wants is for people to abide by the rights of others and respect all, maintaining the freedoms she so preaches of. As such, most areas of faith and prayer are also governmental areas; congresses, town halls, police stations. The government place considered to be the most holy of them all would be the central presidential building, located in Aster.
There is but two non-governmental sites that she allows worship near, and that would be her home located on the main tower of Aster, and an artificial canyon that doubles as a crossroads. The former, because people do it anyways, and to stop breaking and entering, she decided to make it official by placing an offering area on the ground floor. The latter, because it is the area that she admits to doing anything 'holy'; there were too many predators and animals within that crossroads, which was the main road to both Domhan Tir and Aquavia. To fix this, Shinonome applied an earth-shattering pressure on the grounds, carving a canyon into the ground that any travelers can traverse easily across. Really, all that is required within Shinonome's religion that pertains to her is to recognize her wishes of freedom and liberty, and to remember that should they ever need desperate help in keeping that freedom, she is at their beck and call.
