HALF MOON MALE SEVENTEEN DOMHAN TIR TRAVELER HETEROSEXUAL | a p p e a r a n c e _______________________________ Shi-Moon is fairly tall and slender, as he stands at five feet, eleven inches tall, but he has very little muscle on him at this point. He is fairly lean, but his body has almost no muscles to speak of. He seems to slouch, and overall, looks like he isn't very confident. He has a fairly handsome face, which is covered up slightly by his hair, which is a disorderly mop of light brown that sits upon his head. It is slightly brushed back, so that the top and sides of his head don't just hang directly down, but it looks disorderly most of the time, hanging in large chunks. He has large brown eyes that seem to be very lively, full, and glowing, like pools. He has a small nose and pointed chin, and he looks fairly young. Going down, he has thin shoulders, and you can slightly see the abdomen muscles simply because there's nothing to cover them up. He is essentially skin and bones, and looks almost like a strong wind can blow him over. He does, however, have a few scars on his body, which makes him seem like he is not a complete and utter wimp, but this is simple because he was bullied. He wears thick clothing during the winter and autumn months, but during spring and summer, he simply wears thin clothing. The thick clothing usually consists of a blue colored sweater made from wool, and a thick white scarf around his neck. His leggings are simple pants made of thick wool, and he has fur boots for the occasion. All the thick clothing looks odd on him, because he is so skinny, he almost looks like a small child wrapped in many thick blankets. He doesn't really carry anything on him except for food, which is usually dried meat jerky, and perhaps a canteen filled with spring water tied around his waist. He also usually carries around a sketch pad and two or three pencils with him. He has a large pack with him, that contains a small tent, some kindling, flint and a steel knife for making fires, as well as enough food for a long while. p e r s o n a l i t y _______________________________ Shi-Moon is a very timid young man that doesn't really talk too much to other people. He likes to keep to himself for the most part, but he does enjoy helping people. He will gladly take the blame for others, whether they force him to or not. He will attempt to help people whenever he can, but when he is threatened, he usually just runs away and hides, and feels terrible for it. He has a very weak personality, as he won't help others directly if it's likely to get him hurt or pushed around, and he simply wants to stay under everyone's radar and simply learn how to skin and dry meat for a living. A very simple life that can't quite be realized. He was bullied throughout his life, to the point where he sometimes contemplates suicide. His mother dies and his father is usually gone out hunting, so he gets picked on frequently. His father is one of the best hunters in the entire country, and because Shi-Moon can't possibly live up to the expectations set forth by his father, he feels even weaker. Shi-Moon was always a sickly and weak child in body, so this has sort of transferred over to his mentality. He doesn't really have any drives, and he isn't really serious about anything, but when he gets serious, he is unrelenting, and never gives up. Although he has yet to show this ability, he has it within him to do so. He doesn't really know it, but he can also take a punch and has very good stamina, the people who used to beat him up made sure of this. Because of the constant jabs at his self-esteem, Shi-Moon generally thinks of himself as almost useless, and always tries to be of use to someone, but he likes to do so secretly, as he isn't quite ready to outright talk to others. He will talk to others, and is insanely friendly and nice to those who are nice to him first, although he is a bit cautious. He has finished with his studies and schooling, and is very smart, and learns quickly, but he isn't very fit for manual labor because of his birth. Shi-Moon has quite a bit of rage built inside of him, and although he can be angry at times, he never goes into a full blown rage. He worships Orik, although he often cries when he prays to him, simply because he wonders why someone who always lives for others and the environment could be cursed with such a horrible body and an awful life of bullying. He has never cursed Orik, however, as the god has given his father food, although his birth did kill his mother. He really wonders about the world, as he has never left the safety of his village. His small village is near Down Hollow, so he is no stranger to herbs and medicine, although the apothecaries and such that reside there said that it would be impossible to fix his body. He is always trying to better himself, and he would love to find a strong and reliable friend to help him out on his journey. a b i l i t i e s / s k i l l s _______________________________ Creation: The user can create anything he is familiar with, and this appears to happen out of thin air. The gift that was given to him allows him to turn any non-living material and plants into energy and absorb the energy. The user can then copy the material he has absorbed, essentially being able to create from nothing. This is a strong power, and is currently limited to making only fairly small amounts of something. Nothing over 10 lbs can be made instantly, and larger quantities take a larger amount of time, and drain a considerable amount of energy, causing drowsiness. Simple and small things, perhaps a few pounds at a time, are trivial at this point. strengths: |
[li]Very high endurance, can keep getting up over and over again after getting knocked down and injured.[/li]
[li]Smart and learns things incredibly quickly, as well as being quick on his feet.[/li]
weaknesses:
[li]Weak emotionally, gets sad easily, low self-esteem and confidence[/li]
[li]Too trusting, which can get him manipulated easily.[/li]
[li]Naive, doesn't know much outside of his small village, wowed by anything advanced.[/li]

When he was born, Shi-Moon was a very small child, as his mother had gotten sick when she was nurturing him in her womb. He was a small thing, but very beautiful, a beauty that only came with things that were very fragile. His mother died shortly after giving birth to him, so he never knew her. His father was a tall, broad shouldered, powerful man that was very handsome to say the least. He was a grizzled hunter, and was known as the best in the village, and was even gaining fame outside of the small village, in the Hollow and the capital. He had a plan to move to the Hollow when his son was born, however, with the loss of his wife, he simply didn't have the will to move there. He wanted his wife and son to have a better life in one of the large cities in the country, but instead, he got a small sickly child and the death of his wife. Still, in honor of his mother, Shi-Moon was given her maiden name as a part of his own, and his father couldn't help but love him. However, with his mother gone, he would need a wet nurse, which would definitely be taxing on them, so he would need to go out and hunt more than ever.
The small child was also sick more often than not, and the apothecaries didn't think he was going to make it past the age of three. When they said that, his father simply scowled at them, which caused immediate silence, and he simply walked out. His son was a fighter, just like him, and he couldn't believe that his son, the son of his wife, could die so easily. He was going to prove that, and for that, he would need money, and so he ventured further into the wilderness, hunting larger and more dangerous game over the next few years. He was determined to provide for his child, and in doing so, he got more money, but also had less and less time with his son. Eventually his son was old enough to want to spend time with his father, but he had very little to no time. It only took Shi-Moon's father a few years to teach him how to cut up and cook his own meals, although he was a horrible hunter and never caught much of anything. Shi-Moon grew into a thin young man, although he wasn't really sick anymore after that, other than the occasional common cold because of the winter months. Sometimes his father would come back with scars, or perhaps he lost a pinkie finger to the cold, but he always came back.
During his schooling in the village, Shi-Moon was often picked on and bullied. He never really had any friends, because he was such a pushover, and he was often made fun of how his father didn't even want to be with him, because he was so weak comparatively. He just waded through it for a few years, but he was always an easy target for the bullies. they would always pick on him, and once words no longer held any weight towards him, the bullies would get physical and beat him up. He was weak, and didn't even think to fight back, and anyone who became friends with him eventually got beaten up to, so they stopped talking to him entirely. It was a very sad life, it got so bad once, he wondered if he should just jump into the frozen river and end it, or perhaps simply go out into the cold and start trying to hunt. At least his body would feed a hungry wolf, that was better than him simply doing nothing with his life other than being bullied. His father was far too busy to actually help, he simply gave words to Shi-Moon. He taught him to fight fire with friendship, and that never seemed to work. He worshiped his father almost as much as Orik, so he always simply turned away from the bullies as they hit him, and refused to hit back.
Eventually he got put into the hospital once, and this was the time that he started asking Orik for help, perhaps the god would hear him, as his father didn't seem to. He made a proper sacrifice to the god using some ritual he had learned from a book, but it seemed no good. He didn't really know it, but the god had indeed blessed him, but the abilities that he would get would be slow got and would need great trials. The god did however, give the young man the ability to rapidly heal himself for the time being, which got him out of the hospital quicker than he expected, and this would also help with the bullies. He thought that the god simply didn't have time for someone of so little importance, when the god was thawing out the ice and making sure the land was good enough to provide crops. He understood, and went on with his daily life, until his father came down with very serious news. His father wanted him to leave the village for some reason. Shi-Moon wasn't really sure how to take this, and asked why, but his father wouldn't say, and essentially said that he should leave as quickly as possible, and started packing up his son's things.
Shi-Moon wasn't one to fight back his father, so he simply gathered up his things and left. He wondered if his father got into some trouble with bad people, although people like that couldn't be found in their country, right? He wondered what would happen, as he walked through a very light snowfall that signified winter was on it's way, and left his entire village behind. He was sweating after only a little while, the heavy clothing and heavy pack too much for the weak Shi-Moon. He didn't really know where he would go to, as he only ever knew his own village. He had wandered for a few days into the wilderness, not really sure where he was, when he first discovered his power. A snowfall had made any kindling he tried to gather unusable, and he became suddenly angry, and determined. He wasn't going to die out there in the wilderness, not when he had actually left the bullies. No, he was definitely going to do something, and there it was. His power manifested, and suddenly a bundle of wet grass he held angrily in his hand was gone, and suddenly he knew about it. He knew he could replace it, and so he created some, without the wetness. He then started a small fire, unsure of where he was or what had just happened, but he didn't really care... because he was warm.
