Guidelines and Rules:
This event has is being hosted by Domhan Tir and it is law that technology is banned in this country. If you have technological weapons such as guns, rays or mechs you will been seen as breaking this law.
Keep your items close! Herbs, healing equipment ammo and other helpful/harmful items are limited. Don’t think we will just let you carry a backpack into this battle arena. Be realistic.
Be fair, you are no God no matter how much you may self-proclaim! Your battle moves are limited to 3 per post and you are to list them in order at the bottom of said post. Actions will include blade attacks, blunt object attacks, firing arrows, using a gift, using an item, blocking, evading and countering.
Battle Rounds:
In the event that more than 16 participants have entered we will host a mass preliminary round with a minimal scare that each contender has to meet in order to pass the round. These rounds will have their own unique guidelines and rules depending on the amount of contenders.
A typical round will have a maximum time limit of 1 week; each contender must post within 3 days or the previous contender. If you fail to post with 72 hours you will be disqualified. Your battle round will be first introduced by a staff member which beings the time limit. You may post once your battle has been announced and there is no limit to the amount of posts made during that 1 week.
Once your round and battle is complete, staff will grade it and determine a winner. This will take place over the course of 24 hours once the last post has been reached and the battle ended. The aim is for each round to begin at midnight CST and end 1 week later at midnight CST.
If you make it passed the semi-finals you will partake in the Champion Fight and a Bronze fight. You must be active the full five to six weeks even if you don’t think you will take first place.
Determining the Winner:
Each battle will be graded by all the staff; each fighter will be given a "report card" with the following criteria as it was used in the battle. The scores will be averaged out by a combination of the grades given by staff. It will also include a statement about the fight explaining why you got the score you did, because we want every experience here to be a growing one.
Each will be graded on a scale of 1 to 5 stars, with a perfect score of 15. Each score will be explained privately to the fighter for their own personal benefit and the winner will be declared soon after.
The Grand Prize:
The grand prize will be character specific.

- Realism : The first grade given by each staff member is the amount of realism used in determining how you controlled your character. Taking circumstances seriously and facing any challenges presented on the battlefield is part of this score.
- Innovation : The second grade given by each staff member is the innovation used in confronting obstacles presented in the arena, be they the opponent or something else used in the ring.
- Readability : This one is something that isn't usually included in tournaments, but I find it something that probably should be. This requirement is that we have to be able to read/understand exactly what it is you are doing as an audience, because as a gladiator style tournament, the expectation is that others are observing/enjoying the fight.
