I'm sure most of you have heard of me by this point. I am currently a moderator for helping move things along in certain parts of the site.
I am going to college to be a teacher, so you'll find that I conduct myself often as a teacher. Not everyone likes this but I feel it is necessary to grow in every aspect of your life because if you're not growing, you're declining.
That being said, I try to make my reviews and evaluations as constructive as possible, pointing out weaknesses and errors where it's necessary while offering information on how to correct the problem and avoid it in future applications. Anyone who's had a review by me knows there is a specific way I do them for this reason.
I try to be fair as possible and keep things neat and clean and understandable.
If you're doing a profile for either Zhadrah or Domhan Tir, I get first crack at you (usually) so let me tell you really quick about my process.
So if you're going to try to get a character through as quickly as possible, keep the above in mind and we'll be able to get on just fine.
You have been warned, it is not uncommon at all for my reviews to reach a page and a half in length. Do not be intimidated if this happens; I have training as a teacher that causes me to give examples and highlight problem areas so that the student/writer can improve as a whole. That is why I am as thorough as I am. I know many of the people starting out here are starting out; others have been honing their profiling skills for a while. In either case, I read it over with the same diligence and eagle eye that I do my own characters.
I appreciate your understanding.

Now, to explain how I do my rundowns, I read history first, then go back and read the entire app again to see it through the character's eyes as I know them from the history and determine if the powers are acceptable and such that way. I'll read through it this way and note anything out of place or borderline, then while I'm doing the review, I'll go through a third time and see if anything needs polishing or if you need to take notice of anything. In short, by the time I've made my first full review, I've read the app enough times that I know the character as it is presented and we can work on anything together. I prefer working in suggestion and compromise rather than demand and ultimatum, so that's why I try to get such a good grasp of what the idea for the character originally was and to an extent what the intention of their story is.
