Grayson was born to a poverty-level family in Hryst. His mother died when he was young, and he was surrendered to the country's orphanage by his father at the age of five. When he was sixteen, his ring of friends devised a plan to run away from the orphanage, but the group eventually dissolved. Years later, he was approached by the ring leader about a job that he desperately needed the money from. Shit hit the fan and Grayson and the two others were arrested after the death of one guard and the brutal beating of another. Grayson was sentenced to death by firing squad along with two of his orphanage 'friends', even though he was simply guilty by association. Brynne saw this injustice, and saved him. Or so the story goes.
As a Speaker, his powers include heightened stealth, agility, an extensive knowledge of weapons, an interesting form of transportation that can only be described as faster-than-light flight, and immortality. He does not remember anything about his former life. Only Brynne and his duties as her Speaker.
positive relations:
He is first and foremost Brynne's Speaker and companion. Grayson's friendly enough that he can make friends with just about anyone - which can lead him into getting into some deep trouble.
romantic relations:
As a human, there had been a blonde that he had feelings for, but he doesn't remember her - although she might remember him. ((FC: Elaina Fisher from Uncharted - not something I want to explore for a while, but still would be fun.))
negative relations:
He doesn't have any personal enemies - not yet at least. ((Definitely something I'm looking for.))

about cole:
Born into a country of violence, Cole never requested a gift from the powers that be. His skills and abilities come from several decades of a hard life style that had taken almost everything from him. He's well-versed in weapons, especially his small armory that he keeps on his person at all times.
He doesn't get "close" to anyone. Not anymore.
positive relations:
He hasn't had a truly positive relationship in years. So good luck with that.
romantic relations:
He's got no interest in this crap. Say's he's too old for stuff like that.
negative relations:
Just about anyone who's crossed Cole's path could be considered his enemy - especially anyone who was a member of the gang that destroyed his home nearly two decades ago.
