the 13th 'night raid'
I. who are the 'night raid'?
"YOU ARE HERE BECAUSE YOU ARE 'DIFFERENT'. YOU ARE HERE BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT ACCEPTED AND UNWANTED. BUT WE ACCEPT YOU, THE UNWANTED, 'LES TERRIBLES'. WE WANT YOU TO CALL THIS PLACE YOUR 'HAVEN', YOUR NEW HOME."
the '13th night raid' division is made up of deadly operatives that specialize in utilizing sabotage and surprise assaults on their enemies. often under the cover of the darkest of the nights, they infiltrate into the enemy territory and mercilessly destroy them when they least expect it with all-out assaults from several different directions at once even in the most treacherous of terrains. these shock troops have a ferocious reputation for their brutality and ruthlessness within the both spec-ops and underground world, often referred to as the the 'headsmen of the aquavia', and their feared status is well-earned.
the reason as to why they are called the 'headsmen' is because of their culture. the division requires their combatants to either bring back the head, the scalp or the face of the main target(s) to the command not only as a confirmed kill, but also as something like a grim trophy after a good hunt. this is their way of conducting a psychological warfare on their enemies by putting fear into them. the government, however keeps these practices and the mission they partake under tight wraps so that it is hidden from the public's view. anyone who have knowledge of this and speaks out are... 'quietly' disposed of personally by the division. anyone who are familiar with the underground criminal world or have been in the spec-ops for a long time know that only these particular group of operatives do this, adding more onto their reputation.
this particular division of shadowy and secretive soldiers are recruited directly from the boot camp, but the candidate must meet the psychological and physical profiling. they often look for trainees who have a behavior that normally isn't acceptable within the boot camp. they also look for cunning and creative killers with savage instincts that are shown in combat training. when they get chosen, the trainees are literally kidnapped silently in middle of a late night and are taken to training immediately.
once they wake up, the recruits find themselves within a facility that would look like a prison at first to test mental toughness. they are given strict rules as not to talk unless talked to or even make eye-contact with anyone. they are given blankets and must sleep on the stone beds that are attached against the wall in a small, claustrophobic space with little to no room to move around. there are no bathrooms either, and for that the recruits are told to either defecate in front of the 'wardens' often dehumanizing them for their actions. the food that they are given is also terrible and are given only one meal per day with a cup of orange juice.
should the recruit refuse to eat, they force feed them using a tube going through their nose and into their throat in front of all others. everything that they do and practice goes against the standard code and conduct of the aquavian military. however, the government turns a blind eye as they see it as a viable method to give recruits to give them a taste of grim reality. their methods to try and break recruits include torture, degradation and many other things that are far too terrible to mention. this goes on for two weeks - and should any recruits break during that time, they are immediately treated by medics and have their memories erased before being sent back to the boot camp.
if the recruit proves him or herself to be a viable candidate, they are released from their shackle and are welcomed to the '13th night raid' division. not all recruits accept this, and it is expected as large number of them turns this offer down. should this be the case, their memories are erased and are sent back to the boot camp. sometimes, every single recruits turn down this offer, but a small number of them manage to find it in their hearts to stay and call it their home.
the training to be part of the night raid division starts only when recruits accept it. once they do, they are given strict orders not to talk about anything that goes on within the facility and everything they do are for their eyes only. the training is extremely rigorous, day and night they follow strict schedule as follows:0600: trainees wake up, wash themselves and have breakfast. at this time, the company commander also may give out orders and certain tasks.0700: morning live-fire exercise & 'light' pt (physical training)0900: combat exercise, generally involving close-quarter combat or cqc.1200: mid-day meal, this time also may be used to debrief on the performance of the training while the recruits eat.1300: afternoon live-fire exercise & heavier physical training1500: evening combat exercise involving combined tactics with company marksmen and vehicles. they may also deviate from standard combat exercise and test new tactics. rewards for good, consistent performances are also handed out by the end.2000: evening meal, this time also may be used to debrief on the performance of the training while the recruits eat.2100: night firing drills or short combat exercise with current members of the night raid. any injuries sustained during the practices are treated by the company paramedics.2300: free time. trainees are given time to do what they wish for the rest of the day. if the performance was less than ideal on that day, the company commander reserves the right to use this time for feedbacks and deal punishments that's necessary.2400: lights out.once the training is complete, the trainees are officially given the famous black beret that they are known for and are issued with some of the top-notch equipments that the special operations command can provide. these men and women can now proudly call themselves the 'night raid', the headsmen of aquavia. Their deployment after graduation can be considered almost immediate, and are sent on high-risk missions.Meet the 'bravo' squadI. Kexis Ragnarok
codename: GHOST | Bravo 4
rank: Specialist
plot: love interestBitches love cannons.Respectfully known as the 'Cannon Bitch' in the division, she is famous for her skills with the long-range anti-material rifle and utilization of heavy weapons. She was transferred on over from some other division to 'Night Raid' due to their need for some sharpshooters like her. I really think she'd probably be the most 'normal' one among the group complete misfits of the military. How she is going to be like is completely up to you.II. EMPTYcodename: Old yeller | Bravo 3rank: Sergeantfc recommendation: Big Boss - metal gear solid 3plot: father-figureOld Yeller is a well-distinguished veteran who had seen several years of action. Hardened in battle and wise beyond his years, he is actually a surprisingly light-hearted and compassionate person. However, he is rebellious and famous for insubordination, thus was sent from boot camp to 'Night Raid' . He utterly loathes and disgusts the practices of the division with their need to bring in trophies of their killed targets, feeling that it's highly inhumane. I can see him trying to teach Damien how to live as a human with the help of his love interest.
He would also be the person who keeps Damien on leash if he goes out of bounds. Being the more experienced one of the group, he completely outclasses him in every way possible except in terms of rank. This sort of gives him the right to smack Damien around from time to time if he needs to.III. [open]
CODENAME: Penetrator | Bravo 5
RANK: PRIVATE
PLOT: BEST FRIENDA bit of a dork, Bravo 5 is a fan of comic books. s/he keeps quite a collection in his/her room with posters of their favorite characters plastered on the walls. Unlike Damien, s/he's messy, lazy and a bit irresponsible, which often earns their squad leaders rebuke without any doubt. This often leads to having him personally clean up the room himself. While hes combat skills are quite distinguished, his/her real talents lies within handling technology. If something needs to broken or needs fixing, this is the person they come to.
I really think Penetrator would be able to get along with Damien in a rather... odd way and try to introduce him to his or her own nerdy culture. However, whenever they get into trouble for that, Penetrator would probably would use Damien as a scape goat. They also would probably squabble a lot, so be prepared for that.VI. [Taken]
CODENAME: revenant | Bravo 2
RANK: Unknown
PLOT: Right hand manRevenant is one of the more quiet members of the Bravo Squad. After previous Bravo 2's leave due to his injuries from a mission, he was quickly replaced by one of the deadliest covert ops specialist in the Night Raid division, the 'Revenant'. The new Bravo 2 is quite a mysterious character. Nobody knows his/her gender nor their name, because of this the Revenant is referred to as 'he'. It is rumored that he is the watch dog of the spec ops command to keep an eye on the Kexis to make sure she won't hesitate killing her terrorist brother.
However, unlike many of the Night Raid personnels who prefer using firearms as opposed to bladed weaponry, the Revenant prefers to deal with their opponents up close and personal using his/her blade. The assassin sneaks in shadows, looking for the weaknesses within the enemy's formation and takes out important key objectives that would compromise the opponents' plans.V. Rayne Abaddon
CODENAME: master key | Bravo 6
RANK: corporal
PLOT: new squad mateNight Raid gets all kinds of people from different backgrounds from stone-cold killers to an eccentric bunch, the division is known to house the 'unwanted' and the 'undesirable' of the military. One of which is the Master Key. Among the Night Raid, she is known as one of the more ferocious combatants that they have on their leash.
As the name implies, the 'Master Key' is a breach and clear specialist and is known for her skills using heavy fully-automatic shotgun, no one is better trained in such weaponry than she is. On top of that, she is capable of hacking through any sorts of security complex with relative ease. However, due to her cybernetic implant, some say that she has a few screws loose in her head and many members of the division tend to be careful around her.
Nonetheless, her effectiveness in combat is undeniable and her recent transfer to the infamous Bravo squad proves as much.I appreciate the time you took to look over this plot page.
