Domhan Tir has known more peaceful days. Bandit and black marketeer sightings and incidents are growing in number and the people are hesitant to wander the trade roads willingly. As it has been suspected that the people responsible for the raids, killings and illegal trade are foriegners, petitons have gone up all over the country for the closing of the borders to protect the country. Orik has contacted the other Gods for guidance and support in deciding how to handle the situation because they too would be effected by the turn of events. Now Orik seeks out the hearts that believe and are most loyal to him and his creed to offer them the abilities to defend the nation so that it might not fall into ruin or isolation. However, spring is approaching and some of the most dangerious creatures of the forest are coming out of their hibernation. The Kath have started hunting, adding a whole new threat to the list of concerns for the people.
In Hyrst, it's been one of the worst winters in the last hundred years. Although they're used to the deep freeze, never before have the waterways been so treacherous; so much so that all waterway travel has been suspended until the spring thaw. Huge shipments that once required the great steam-manned ships Hyrst is famous for have to be carted down the roads as gently as possible. Such a slow process is taxing enough, but as this is happening, return trade is just as slow. With the shortages, the country has resorted to rationing food and necessary imports until the rivers and water channels are more passable. Desparation has caused traders to venture the quick way through the Dead Sands, however the sands are no longer as quiet as they used to be and the traders are finding that the path is even more dangerous than any they have chanced across before. Brynne works every waking moment worrying and trying to crash through the massive slates of ice along with Jag to clear the waters as quickly as possible so that her children do not have to risk their lives within the dangers of the Dead Sands so often.
Aquavia is thriving and Shinsoo is making advancements in technology both biological and mechanical, becoming a shining spectacle and flourishing nicely. This however causes disbalance with it's sister city, Baem, which is teaming with crime. Gangs have staked out their territories and painted the once clean city in graffiti, Homes are no longer safe as theft accounts are on the rise and vandalism streaks its way thorugh the streets. The dual gods are beginning to realize that the country is starting to separate like oil and water within itself and soon they will have to stand united to solve the issue. However they also have their hands full. Dym has heard Orik's voice and continues to seek an answer to his dilemna, which will eventually effect all the world if it is left to continue. Jag is attempting to help Brynne with her problem of the ice by using the currents to try to chip away at the iceflow as she seeks a way to keep her people from daring to venture further onto the dangerous Dead Sands.

Tamesis, who's powers are in tune with sleep and death, was attracted to the citizens inside of the seal, and though at first she was hesitant or even loath to attempt to enter the wall, as commitment is something she shies from. After considering it carefully over the empty stretch of eternity they lay sleeping, trapped in their lack of time, she put her hand to the door and let her voice echo through their dreams, where she had power even without the agreement of a deal or understanding of a commitment. She would take this fledgling country, with it's maimed and broken wings, and she would make within it a place where she could thrive... and be worshipped properly, not in fear as the Goddess of Death and Eternal Sleep... but the Goddess who'd Awakened the Sleeping Country.
