I will hunt you down... "Nice?" he echoed her words with a raised brow as his eyes gave the girl a rather confused look, he would not see what was nice about his job all he knew was that the bounty hunter profession was anything but nice. His mind would sink back into the deep thoughts that troubled his mind, the thoughts that reminded him that despite his exterior personality his pride was still wounded; all thanks to her. 'Silver Fox' he would growl in his head the hand that was furthest from the girl, and hidden from her view would squeeze into a tight fist as the proud warrior felt a sense of rage overcome him. So much so that he failed to hear Jasmins bit about her using her musical talents to get by, in fact he was so consumed at that moment with the festering feelings of anger that he was unable to brace himself when he was suddenly pushed into the alley. Ivan would go wide eyed as he stumbled into the alley looking around, he realized where he was, and his senses went on full alert was this woman going to attack him? Was she an assassin!? His mind raced as he prepared to take a swing at her as soon as she got close, however before he even came close to completing the motion he would be pinned to the nearest stone wall.
Ivan stood there, much taller, and much stronger he could easily shove her off; but he didn't instead he remained still listening to her words. The timid tone that once slipped into his ears, was now replaced by the tone of a seductress that whispered sweet nothings at the sizable brute, he would stare at the woman a smirk on his features as she got close. He was ready to push her off, he was not so familiar with her, and he was not this comfortable with her thankfully she would push herself off. Feeling a lingering tickle on his arms from her furry tails that had teased his skin, Ivan would only chuckle in response as he raised a hand with the universal symbol for 'stop'. "An enticing offer, but what do you say we get you on your feet first. Get that flute" he said with an amused expression; the woman was a tease, quite the interesting creature indeed but Ivan was a strong hunter of Domhan Tir, and he would not fall for the feminine wiles of just any woman. Walking passed her to exit the alley he stepped out into the main street again, "Come on then Jasmin, we're here" he said to the girl motioning towards the shop across from them.
Walking towards the shop the large man stepped through the door ducking under the frame as he found himself greeted by the kind merchant who already recognized the brute. "Old man, do you have any flutes? My friend here, she requires some for a performance she will be giving tonight at the town square. You should come, the fare is five coins per head but we can discount you to three if you spread the word" he explained, the merchant chuckled to Ivan giving him a nod, "For a deal like that, sounds good. Make it two coins, and I will take the entire town to her" to this Ivan only smirked shaking his head at the sly dog as the men shook on the official deal.
Soon enough the merchant laid out three different flutes, two made of wood, and one of metal. The wooden ones you had a good quality one that looked new with red rings adorning one end, and the other looked more worn, and torn. As for the metal flute it was nicely polished to the point where one would see their reflection on its surface, the mechanical pieces seeming more sophisticated as well. Standing to the side Ivan remained silent to allow Jasmin her time to inspect the many tools of her trade.

Never trust a book's cover The girl would watch as he mentioned those words, quickly taking a step back as she understood he’d rather be courteous to her. Again it wasn’t every day that a guy was this almost gentleman like to her and Jasmin had to admit… she liked it. Slowly following him out, the kitsune would notice again people looking at her before her tails lowered themselves as they made into the shop. Staying behind Ivan, she’d let him do the speaking, looking around quietly “Uh… Ivan?” she’d call pout softly when he mentioned a show. She would then slowly walk over to the counter, looking over the flutes while reaching a hand to her chin
Sure she used the flute but it limited her work a lot. She would then ask softly to the merchant “Instead of these, do you happen to have any lyres?” she’d ask softly. It was her wondering if she could have something that didn’t limit her from moving so much and also provided her the opportunity to sing after all. Her eyes drifted to Ivan “If… its ok with you… The flute is not all I can play… And I had been pondering a change of instrument for a while now” she’d say with a soft smile before she’d look back at the merchant.
Even so the girl’s tails swayed behind her, indicating that she seemed a bit excited to say the least, and from the look on her face she was showing it but she also seemed a bit worried about something, more so how much this was going to cost Ivan, considering he was going to be paying for this. She’d have to make sure to pay him back somehow later on and she wasn’t going to take no for an answer. Jasmin was one hell of a stubborn woman deep down after all.

I will hunt you down... Ivan would remain quiet until the girl made a request that made him raise a brow, he watched her quietly as she asked the merchant for said instruments the man would nod placing the flutes back he retreated back to the shop storage. Back out front Ivan would listen to Jasmins reasons he would give her a nod of the head, "That's fine, I said I would replace your instrument" he responded turning away when the shop keeper returned the man held one Lyre in his hand. Ivan had never laid eyes on the instrument before, it was an odd U shaped, with strings running down vertically from a thin bridge that connected to both ends of the unique shape. The man set the piece down on the counter to show to them both, "This is the only Lyre I have, it costs a bit more then the flutes but its in good condition. I'm askin--" before he could finish Ivan stepped forward grabbing the instrument. Without much resistance from the shop keep he would pull it away, eying it he then handed it over to Jasmin.
"I trust your judgment, inspect it. After we find out if the price he names is fair" he commented to her giving her a gentle smile as he held the instrument for her; once the girl took it he would turn to the shop keeper who was giving Ivan an irritated glare. Ivan knew the man well, that's how he knew that he was a bit of a crook if he saw he could get away with it so the hunter would make sure not to make things so easy for him, he would let Jasmin inspect the instrument this way the two could make an educated guess on a proper price. Ivan would then eye the girl his golden orbs glancing over at her, taking the chance to stare at her while she eyed the instrument he could not help but notice how attractive she was. He blinked a few times, turning away when his eyes suddenly saw another image that was not Jasmin again her voice echoed in his head, the taunting, her chuckle everything it always irritated him. But why couldn't he get her out of his head?
'Silver Fox' he thought a bit annoyed now, but able to mask it well; he would make sure to keep the woman out out of his head tonight maybe being in the company of Jasmin would aid him in soothing his troubles.

Never trust a book's cover The female would look over the instrument before she saw Ivan grabbing it and giving it to her. Jasmin would wrap her delicate fingers around it and slowly examined it “Its in good condition, barely scratched…” she’d say before reaching a finger over and testing the cords, experimenting on them as her ears moved each time she tried them. Of course she’d remain quiet for a bit before looking over “It needs tuning but I can do that myself… however” she’d point at one of the cords while looking at the merchant “I’d be blind and plain dumb if I bought this without you replacing the cord… Replace the cord first and then name the price” she’d say with a bit of a bitter tone. One thing that annoyed her was merchants trying to sell her shoddy instruments.
The girl placed the lyre on the counter and waited now, looking over at Ivan. He seemed distracted by something so the girl would reach over, grabbing his hand slowly “Hey… You ok?” she’d ask gently, squeezing his hand reassuringly as she looked into his eyes quietly. At times he seemed a bit out of it but she wanted to know if he needed anything. She considered him a friend already, and Jasmin never used the concept lightly. Friends for her were rare and she treasured them like pure diamond after all. Even so she would stare into his eyes “…You can tell me if something is wrong, trust me” she’s say, now looking at him more.

I will hunt you down... The shop keeper would look at the girl then grumble a bit as he took the lyre walking to the nearby work bench that was anchored behind the shop counter, he would quietly work away at it. Ivan eyed the man quietly, trying to distract his mind from the troubles that were bombarding it, it was then that he felt a gentle squeeze at the hand. Looking down Ivan would glance at the fox girl she was holding his hand in such a tender way, he thought of pulling away but he didn't he remained silent as he listened to her words he was aware she was trying to comfort him. He was not a man with a heart of ice, nor was he an asshole despite popular belief the silver topped man would only nod at Jasmin giving her a simple "Thank you" in response to her kindness. Admittedly he believed he was lucky these passed few days he had run into women who had shown him nothing but kindness, granted Jasmin was a little more open with what she wanted from him but the golden eyed male would accept this more honest gesture from her.
Returning the squeeze of her hand he would add, "...but I am fine. There's nothing the matter, just thinking of a hunt" he commented dismissively playing off the truth turning as the shop keeper returned Ivan took his hand from Jasmin, allowing her to hold the Lyre again. Ivan watched as the shop keeper spoke, "Here it is, the piece is fixed the asking price is nine coin" he said holding out his hand expectantly. Ivan would raise a brow, and smirk glancing over at Jasmin he stepped close to her wrapping an arm around her waist for a moment "I never trusted you old man, but you know her...." he said his arm pulling Jasmin in a little closer having her pressed against his solid form. "She's an expert on instruments, so we will see what she says its worth, and we can come to an agreement. Besides I already offered you a discount on your fee for watching the show" he added making sure to remind the old man of where he stood in this negotiation. Ivan waited for Jasmin to speak glancing down at her, "Well, what do you think?" he asked her curiously waiting for her to speak the girl still in his arm; he was doing this for a reason though he was giving the old man a better look at Jasmins curves. Distracting him a bit so they could fog his mind just a tad...

Never trust a book's cover At times Jasmin could come off as only interested in people because of their good looks but that was far from the truth. Deep down the fox seeks something more personal with someone that she could one day stop using illusions to hide her true self but she hardly though that day would ever arrive. That and the attention, even if sometimes a bit negative was nice, considering that she lived most of her younger years sheltered by her older brothers left and right because they were so overprotective of her.
Slowly turning over to the merchant the girl crossed her arms “Excuse me? Nine coins?” she’d say, a bit of disbelief in her tone before she’d place her hands on the counter, staring down the merchant with her amber eyes, piercing almost like daggers “You have got to be kidding me, this here is worth no more than seven coins. Besides you think that once people find out I used something from your store you won’t get a bit more business?” she’s say with a smirk before looking at the merchant “Seven coins. And were not paying any more” she’d grumble and looked over to Ivan, her eyes showing that she was actually pulling a few strings to try and get a better price on the instrument. Besides she did have a point, the Lyre had to have a string replaced and she knew that being something used pulled down its regular market price on it after all.

I will hunt you down... He had to admit he was impressed, the shy fox had a few fangs to show then? She was at least willing to barter for the price, he fully agreed before the shop keeper could even complain he walked over setting down seven coins on the table, "We are discounting your entrance fee to her show, that's two coins plus these seven that's nine which is your asking price. So let's leave it at that, yeah?" he asked with a raised brow. The shop keeper remained quiet, sighing as he did the coins from the table "Aye" he responded wanting to be done with the duo. "Well looks like you're the proud owner of a Lyre now" he commented to the girl with a chuckle once she had the lyre in her hand he would step out of the shop, welcomed by the mid day breeze it was a cool breeze thanks to he spring months there was no worry of dying from heat stroke. The man would look around his eyes jumping from face to face, this place definitely needed some uplifting music he turned to Jasmin keeping her at his side "So you play a show tonight, we charge coin per head. We head out tomorrow" he explained as he paused the two walking back to the Inn now. "...you can stay in my room tonight, don't worry I can sleep on the floor. That way we don't take up a room from Lelage, and we can both head out first thing in the morning. I'll let her know I'll be gone for a few weeks. So we can find your brothers" he explained as he marched along.
There were many reasons he was doing this, just because he wanted to help Jasmin was one of them but with an excuse to leave this town gave him a chance to get back on the track of the Silver Fox. The man would walk along with the woman until they reached the inn again, "I say the show should start in a few hours, the shop keeper will spread the word, I will go see about getting you a stage. Go rest, and we will meet here in a few hours..." he said referring to the front of the Inn as their meeting spot....
[TIME SKIP!]
Ivan returned as he had said after a few hours, he stood outside of the Inn waiting for Jasmin just a few feet from where he stood a stage had been set up it was a make shift one time use stage but it was something. A crowd of people had gathered, and Ivan had gathered a few of the Inn employees to gather the fare for watching the show, he had put together quite a good amount of coin so much so that he could give each of them some for the help. Ivan would look around peeking into the Inn from time to time wondering where Jasmin was, had she fallen asleep? He decided to go look for himself, with the sun having set he figured maybe Jasmin had just dozed off losing track of the time. Rushing up the stairs the man would open his room door, which would be shared for the night stepping into the room his eyes looking around "Jasmin?" he asked curiously.

Never trust a book's cover The girl would take the Lyre and left with Ivan, bidding the merchant goodbye with a single wave. They stepped out of the shop and she would look over to Ivan, smiling a bit “Thanks for the help still… I feel kind of bad…” she’d say before reaching up and kissing his cheek gently as a sign of gratitude before they walked across the village. Jasmin kept to herself but soon would come to a stop as she looked over “Hm… Okay… Well I should probably grab a small nap and wash up meanwhile… I’ll see you in a few hours Ivan” Jasmin said, slowly pulling away as she made her way into the inn to go catch herself a tiny bit of sleep before the show, after all
[Few hours later]
Jasmin had fallen asleep for longer than she hoped and would be finishing up a shower as she stepped out of the bathroom. Yeah she was late but she needed to look prim and proper right now. With a towel wrapped around her form, she’d walk over to her travel bag and took out another outfit she had made for special performances. She was distracted and humming to herself when Ivan walked into the room, unannounced and she would jump up “Get… Out…” she was borderline nude with only a towel around herself and he had dared walking in without warning “…Get out, get out GET OUT!” she’d say, actually grabbing the broken flute and chucking at him as she yelled at him to get out.
In a swift movement, she’d push him out of the room, yelling out “Wait there! I’ll be out in a few!” she’d say before shaking her head and puffing her cheeks. The one time she didn’t feel like flirting with him or hinting at anything he had walked into the room to catch her in THIS kind of predicament. Even so the girl would walk back to the bed, starting to change outfits. At least he had not caught her without her illusionary spell on her form that would’ve been heartbreaking for her. And she’d change, into an exotic dancer’s outfit in shades of blue with golden details to it and tied her hair in a bun, grabbing something similar to a chopstick to hold it in place but would pull a couple of strands over her eyes, letting them hand right over her left eye almost in a curled up fashion. Last detail came a pair of flat black shoes. And she was ready.
Grabbing the lyre, she’d make her way to the door and slowly stepped out, looking at him with a fox like smirk “Weather you saw anything or not, I really don’t care. I do hope you enjoyed the sight Ivan but please knock the next time okay?” she’d say before rubbing her neck “How… big of a crowd is out there?” Jasmin asked a bit nervously

I will hunt you down... He was looking for her not entirely aware of how she was dressed it was not until her voice caught his attention that he turned to face her the mans golden eyes widened, and his dark complexion was colored by a deep shade of red. He watched her quietly his eyes running from the soft feminine features that made up her face, to the loose breasts that hung from her body hugged loosely by the towel that did little to cover the curves of her body. It was so captivating that he failed to see the flute coming to his head, Ivan would take the hit directly on his forehead shutting his eyes tight as he felt it bounce off his head. Ivan would reach up to rub his forehead only to find himself being shoved out of the room, "O--Okay! I'm going" he said as he stumbled out having the door shut in his face, the tall man blinked. Sighing a bit, that had to be one of the most awkward situations he found himself in; reaching up to scratch the top of his head he would clear his throat he had to admit the girl had a nice body. Either way he shook the thoughts away sighing a bit as he stood out there waiting for her, he needed to get her out to the stage...
When the door finally opened he rested his eyes on her features, this time his golden orbs were inevitably going up, and down from her face to her toes taking in the details of her body. He would go wide eyed as he noticed just how, well, beautiful the fox girl was smiling at her he would look away faking innocence "I didn't see a thing" he commented with a chuckle. Referring to her question he would eye the girl quietly listening to her words, "Well I can't say I counted but there was a dense crowd out there" he said to the woman as he motioned with his head for her to follow. Ivan would practically escort her out, once they headed out Jasmin would be able to see the large crowd that was surrounding the stage he had put together for her. Ivan would walk through the crowd grabbing hold of Jasmine's hand to be able to better guide her, once he was close to the stage he would help her up then give her an encouraging thumbs up. He would step to the side of the stage watching the crowd that had gathered, he recognized most of the faces, and even spotted the shop keeper they had bartered with earlier.
It was all eyes on Jasmin now, some of the men in the crowd whistled, some of their wives smacked them upside the head but all in all the crowd was settled watching the unique fox girl waiting for her grand show. Even Ivan eagerly waited to see Jasmins talent bloom to life, wondering just how she was going to perform.

Never trust a book's cover The girl would look over as he mentioned a dense crowd, holding the lyre close to her body as she blushed “Nh… Let’s go then” she seemed a bit jumpy over all of this. She usually performed on the streets, not up on something set up like this… Well there was always a first. As they went down the stairs and outside, his hand wrapping around her as he guided her through the crowd. The closer they got to the stage, the more nervous the girl became, only to let him pick her up and place her on the stage. And then… her demeanor changed a bit. She would take hold of the lyre with her left hand and slowly started to trace her fingers across it for a moment and then… Music started to play. She’d start plucking the cords starting up slowly, getting used to holding said instrument after spending some time using the flute. As she did so, the girl would slowly close her eyes as she focused on her song for a moment. But of course this was not all. After she’d be a bit into the song, the girl would also start to dance to the music. The lyre was an delicate instrument, something that required focusing on the music but once ones an expert on it things would actually become easier… and alluring to the listeners. Such was the effect of the instrument when played, hence why lyre bards were very recommended in pubs and inns most the time.
