Domhan Tir was a beautiful place. Brenna had to admit it. She had come to cheer her captain on but for now she was just walking around looking at the sights. Kindle, the fire lizard, looked around in wonder. It was the first time he had been out of Hyrst. She smiled slowly rubbing her hand over his head softly. "Calm down."
She kept walking. Her crimson eyes fell on the busy street around her. She wouldn't normally be caught dead in an area like this. Her fear of her own gift often got in the way of that but since she had Kindle. He was the best thing that happened to her in a long time. She smiled as she looked around. Suddenly, he jumped off her shoulders and started running through the crowd. Some people shouted and moved out of the way.
The orange and black lizard ran through the crowd. He knew it had been a mistake but now he was frightened by the people around him. They were screaming and jumping away from him. He kept running. Brenna was shocked. She had never seen him act like this. She quickly ran after him. "Kindle! Come back here!" She ran after him her boots clicking on the road. "I'm sorry. Excuse me. He won't hurt you, I promise!" She kept going after the lizard. She was almost regretting being him here.
Kindle was scared and suddenly ran up a man in a red coat. Brenna was looking around when she saw Kindle run up a man and pretty much latch onto him. Like the rest of the people around him, the man seemed to be freaked out like the others around them. "Oh no!" She ran over quickly and looked at the guy. "Hey, calm down. He won't hurt you unless you keep struggling like this and if he does hurt you...well it was accidental." She looked at the man. Her crimson eyes fell on Kindle. "Kindle come here." She slowly offered her arm to the lizard and it made its way slowly back around her shoulders. He was breathing hard and his eyes looked around frantically. She gently stroked his head. "Its okay, you are okay." She said softly. She felt him rub his head against her cheek. "Please don't run off again."
Her crimson eyes fell on the man in front of her. "I'm sorry for everything that has happened." She asked looking at him. "He doesn't normally do things like this. I'm really sorry for that." She was getting a little worked up. She kept her hands closed so she could control the fire. Her heart was racing from fear of Kindle getting hurt. Kindle flicked his tongue at the man almost glaring at him a little.
