Dross stood before the wall floating as he looked at it's textures and quality. It was a fine wall that was built; and though not one soul had ever seen over it. He was determined to break it down. The floating skull atop the mass of what could be called a body stared up at it with his hollow eyes as if it were some enormous beast; but he looked on fearlessly. He was supposed to be expecting someone today; The Prime divinity Brynne. She was supposed to have met him today though for some unknown reason he had a feeling she was coming. No one had set foot in these lands in over one hundred years and it was a bit barren save for the wild life that was lurking around and going about the path that nature had put out for them. Dross looked down to one of his hand, the right one to be precise and turned his palm down and closed his fist. When he turned his palm back over; and opened his hand a gold coin had made it's appearance and he began to flip the coin about on the top of his fingers. The coin flipped over one, then the next, then the next and like a wave his fingers moved hypnotically before flicking the coin up in the air with his thumb and catching it only to have it vanish again. Dross was a patient being he didn't waste time on haste nor impatience in order to be a good Divinity he had to learn that everything didn't come when he wanted it to. It came when it could..
Dross began to float a little closer to the wall and placed one of his hands on it. The floating skull that was his head lowered what could be called it's vision through hollow eyes and looked to the ground. He wondered what it was like to be trapped behind a wall..What was beyond it... Though he knew he wanted to know from the eyes of another...A mere being of flesh and bone and blood...At times he even envied them as they had great times and bad times...But they never stopped living how they lived.. Dross removed his hand from the wall and looked back to the spot where he was supposed to meet brynne and waited. It was going to be an interesting day to say the least.

Brynne felt connected to the earth this day.. Her feet touched the earth of mortal ground, standing still and alone at the center of a field. It smelled of fresh dew. The spring was coming and the ground had already soaked in a fair share of rain. Good.. if anything she would ensure her people's crops did well and kept the pouring skies full and plenty. The ice was something she could not change by will, for it was not her's and it was great and vast. But the clouds had bent to her command more than one could count. At times, the spirit of nature did what it had to in order to remain balanced.. but most times, it was open to persuasion. The field was beautiful and large, curving up and down in slopes of planted rows from some farmer who lived acres and acres away. Part of her wished to walk to his door, just as she was on this physical plane, and tell him that everything would be alright. But no - today was not the time. Today was a day for reflection. A god had come.. Dross. They had hardly time to talk, dealing with the dangers of their own respective nations, but Brynne ensured him that she would observe him and the Wall of Yursa herself - having been the one to put seals along it to keep it strongly protected. Brynne looked downwards to the thin blades at her hip, items she did not usually ever carry these days, and removed one from its casing to hold it up to the sky. A flock of crows broke from the treeline behind her at the sound of the crisp metal, flying past her as she barely pulled the other out as well and gazed at its edge. War was an awful thing... she had used these to strike Borim until he could fight no longer.. it made her heart ache. She placed them away again calmly, shut her eyes, and opened them to an entirely new atmosphere. Yursa - atop the Wall. The familiar figure stood there and his shrouded robes caressed above the ground as he floated by. His empty eyes, though dark and hollow, were still fixed on something. Brynne could tell the divinity was in deep thought. She saw the coin within his hand, his other upon the wall, and took a step forward with a kind smile and soft voice. "God Dross. An honor to see you once again, new friend," she bowed her head, clasping her hands behind her and facing the Wall. "...it is quite the creation.." The fact was both admiring and saddened - emerald eyes fixated on the invisible seals that held her protective power.

"Lady Brynne." He answered in a greeting as his skeletal head looked up and bowed shortly after one hand in front of him and one hand behind him. His eyes faced back to the wall as he looked on in silence for a moment.. His mind deep in thought with how people had felt from behind there. Of how much they were in need of someone to look up to..An alter to approach and then he answered Brynne "It has been a long time since I have seen the wall. Since our first meeting my lady.. And like always your beauty is as radiant as the rain. It is always an honor to take witness to your image." he humbly said as he looked at the walls features again. Though it was nice that the lady was still around the balance was at stake. It was a known fact that when the balance was tipped in one's favor too much catastrophic things always happened.. He knew because he was the one who took care of the scales..Yursa's fate was weighing heavily on his heart.
Though he was still a divinity he still had a heart.. He still cared about his people "How much time do I have to open this my lady?" He asked as he looked to Brynne again making what would be called eye contact with her. In another sense he was most worried he would not be accepted among the pantheon and cast out to find something of his own again in hopes of balancing the scales again; but then again something told him that it might be alright; and he might join them among the pantheon; then Dross spoke out again, "I am sorry, my lady.. I cannot stand to see my people suffer behind this prison for what the predecessor did here.." a heart full of regret was what was heard..Sorrow...Anger...Though the creepily and soulless exterior he was perhaps more sentimental, emotional and all around more understanding than most. His head lowered again as if in disappointment with himself. A deep sigh exiting what would be his mouth if he had a lower jaw bone. He lifted his head ready to accept whatever fate was decided for him by Brynne and the other divinities.
He turned and approached The Lady and stood before her looking down. his skeleton face gazing quietly...Almost eerily. One could say Death were in the air. One could even go as bold as to say that he were Death himself; but it was a gaze of worry and wonder, more than anything else.

As beautiful as the rain.. Her eyes gave thanks, hands lifting gently above her heart and tilting her head slightly with a smile so gentle, no animal in the world would shy from her. "Your words - friend.. they bring more light and honor than surely I deserve," she shook her head weightlessly, letting her hands drop to observe him. His appearance was so misguiding.. a menacing posture and image, strong and mysterious. But the emnating emotions off of him told so much more. This was a divinity to the core - caring, protective, ready to lead over those which he felt responsible for. Yursa would see no greater champion; there was no doubt.. he was the one who had to break the Wall.
"I too, Dross, am always glad to be within your presence. It is my honor," she took a step closer to the Wall, looking at it once again, and lifted her hand. The seal reacted to her.. glowing with power.. strengthening and weakening all at once with confusion at how to adjust. It just nearly became physically visible - a sort of white mist or smoke wrapping around her wrist and hand, dancing away and then pulling back closer like a magnet. "Time.. it's eternal," she frowned, "I fear I cannot tell you when you could break it, when you could not. I will try with all my might to assist you - to remove this seal and let you wreak havoc upon what holds their freedom in its grasp..." her eyes looked down to the dirt beneath her boots.
Brynne agreed with everything that came from the other divinity; the pain and sorrow of such suffering behind a wall that locked them away. Her head turned when she saw his movement, looking up at his tall form as the empty eyes stared back down at her. In this plane she was much smaller than he.. and yet, still, she felt the role of a mother - a goddess - and took one of his rocky and boned hands within both of her own, grasping around it and holding it gently. "Oh friend..." she empathized, pursing worried brows together, "your heart is great and your soul is greater. Let us rid this seal... and I will stand to witness your power against the wall. You can do this, Dross. If not you.. no other spirit will," her head shook rather adamantly - her quiet and bell-toned voice giving encouragement and insight.

The gentle touch..the feeling of flesh had touched his hand as he looked to the limb slightly. Was it time? Perhaps he was ready after all to tear it down.. But was he himself ready his sound gave way to a little girl crying behind the wall..Quickly he released from Lady Brynne's grip and began to push as much as he could..the sound of pain inching it's way out of his voice. They had suffered long enough it was time for them to be free. The cry of a little one was enough for him to begin..ready or not.. He knew not what her sorrow was for; or whom it was for; but he knew that none of his people should have cried anymore. he began to push harder going as far as to even attempt to dig his hands into the earth to lift it. From the inside what could be called the sound of thunder could be heard yet no clouds were about; and the Lady Brynne didn't summon them. With every ounce of what he had he kept on going. the cries of the little girl began to rise in it's plead for help. Dross screamed out with a pain one who just lost someone they truly loved in the most horrific way.
Suddenly the wall began to crack... He was still screaming..Full of Sorrow...Full of Rage as if he had seen his father devoured by the hands of nature itself needless to say black tears began to fall from the hollowed eyes of Dross as he kept lifting, pushing, and punching. The Divinity was still crying and screaming as he began to pound his fists rapidly against the wall. Each shot let out a thunderous boom as he couldn't think of anything else but to help this little one... He was conscious of Brynne being there still; but he knew he had to do this himself..He knew if he didn't his people would be lost forever.. He felt the wall push back and with each hit in turn felt it crack more and more after each breath came more yelling..With each action Came more tears.. And with each Wail of the little girl of whom was in the most sorrowful and torn times of her life something in his being kept him pushing.. Though the wall was Mighty so was Dross.. His Feelings carried him to push on..gave him the will needed to keep striving on..
This assault kept on it's march for hours and with a scream that echo'd into a sky and a punch that sent a radiant gray light through the cracks.. The wall began to fall and Dross fell to his knee's breathing heavily, Crying, still feeling every bit of what he imagined the girl felt.. When he looked up he saw her.. and her mother laid onto the earth before her.. She looked at him and he to her.. As the gates opened up.. And Yursa was born again.
